Hi, just wanna ask fellow IE8 users for some opinion. Do u guys always store your pair of IE8 in the aluminum casing provided by sennheiser? The box is nice but I find that it is a bit troublesome, so I usually wrap the cord around my amp instead. Is this bad? Should I use a pouch instead? Any suggestions?

Haha, dont bother using the box for everyday use, just get a pouch for it or just wrap around your amp, its quite durable anyway biggrin.gif

. u can coil the cable up inside the hippo case. but do not wrap it on something as it stretch the internal cable.

pls. trust me on this.
i had seen A LOT of ksc75 cable died because of this. and the internal of Ksc75 cable is in fact REINFORCED BY KEVLAR fiber...

Hi all,

Planning to get an IE7 from a friend new in box, he got it as a gift and doesnt need it. I plan on buying it off him almost half the price : D. I'm currently using TF 10's, will i be stepping down in terms of SQ if i go for the IE 7?

Been dying to try out senn's iems for a long time now.

I wont consider it a downstepping but rather different sound signature. wink.gif

Yup, Sen IE7 is balanced and neutral, Tf10 has a lot of artificial bass I would say. IE7 has em kind of "boring" sound, TF10 is livelier in a way~ Double check the authenticity of ur Sen IE7 when you got it, coz there are a lot of counterfeit Senn products out there nowadays, unless it's purchased from authorised seller. Enjoy ur IE7 =)

Thanks for all you kind comments.

Hippocase is a lil bit too pricey for me right now, but I'll get it when I can afford wink.gif

For now I'll use my ok'd klispch custom 2 hardcase to keep my phones...

Roll, roll, roll, tuck inside my pocket, that's how I treat my TF10 xD IE8 cable is very robust yes, don really hv to worry much about it unless you really wanna take super duper gd care of it. e.g avoid scratches~

the point is.
u can roll it.
but don't wrap it around something.
it will definitely damage the internal cable.

My place is quite dusty. I just leave my headphone on the headphone stand. Im lazy to keep it in the box everytime i use it, the box is too big and is wasting my space on the table rclxub.gif
