Well.. it IS tight fitting... and silk..  brows.gif

Anyway, I noticed most vietnamese (both men and women) are mostly quite slim and well toned. You dont see too many chubby/fat people in vietnam.

Diet, life style & the Ao Dai, like the Qi Pao has to be expertly tailored for proper fit . I'm sure they will churn out some good tailors in time to come

ALT only makes tight testicle crunching pants, not Ao Dai's -You have to try the tailors in Ho Chi Min for that

Ok guys... i need some advice here.

I have an event coming up where I have to go on stage and accept some award from a Minister on behalf of my company. Normally I dont really care aboutthe minister per se, but it's a pretty big event with industry mover and shakers there.

So... i was thinking of, Dr. Marten + blue jeans (well weathered, 6 years old) + round neck t-shirt white + either 1) a blazer, charcoal or 2) the mao i made recently.

I personally prefer the mao as it will really contrast with the jeans.

edit : Oh and I'm going to party/clubbing after that, so dont really wanna be overdressed....

The Minister would probably wear a Batik shirt. You should wear a proper long sleeve shirt, wool pants and polished oxfords.

Man, you dress like Phua Chu Kang.

I would wear a blazer or a sportscoat with light-coloured wool pants and black captoe oxfords. No tie, with pocket square.

Do show some respect & dress presentably as a representative of your company. Here's a simple test :- if a picture taken of you dressed in the above manner were to appear on the front cover of a magazine or newspaper would you be ashamed or proud?

I dont own a yellow wellington unfortunately. Would it be bad if i swap the wool pants for jeans? Or even khakis?

But if you were sure that that ensemble was the correct attire, you would not have canvassed the opinion of the forum, would you?

Do your career a favor & think how the picture would look when you become a member of the senior management

With that kinda deadline, you are most likely stuck with OTR stuff. I dont think you will get many good reviews in this particular thread for those. Anyway, just start trying the usual major shopping complexes, you might get really lucky and find somehting that fits you well.

Why don't you try the Melium Outlet , get a Zegna which is one or two seasons old at a heavy discount , get something which closely fits you & alter it?

An alternative to KLCC is The Pavilion if you have deep pockets

Anyone watched Wall Street?

The DB on the bad guy in his final scene (at the prosecutor's office) is incredible.

The suits on the young guy (main character) are too tight for my tastes.

Also, the shirts Micheal Douglas wears after he started his business in London are very Acorn. In fact, one of them is on sale right now (-50%) at Acorn.

Not a realistic depiction on how hedge fund managers dress. Most wear polo t-shirts & chinos . The villain was probably the best dressed although the scene with Michael Douglas in the London shoe shop looks interesting.
The first Wall Street was very influential in the sartorial sense .
Notice Terance Stamp's character who was immaculately dressed in an A & S POW DB suit

Right now the Tan Sri occupies two mannequins at MBT. One is ready for collection and one is waiting for a fitting.

The one awaiting collection is a tan plaid with RJW horn buttons and a shocking pink lining. Patch pockets. 3" lapels. Looks great.

The other jacket is a linen-wool mix in an indefinite black/grey with odd stripes.
