no need to top coat.

that small and you need detailing, you gonna need extra-small brushes e.g. 00, 000, 0000 to name a few. the more zero's the smaller the tip. Hope this help

That's white not clear. Look for this.. I bought one but I only used once on figure, I got frosting and I can't figure out how to make it work.. I only used it on my custom bases.. Might as well go for Tamiya or Mr Hobby...

Got frosting on my figs. Not sure, maybe it's just me but I never try using it on figure again, only on bases..

I can only suggest you try it but not on your finish work, just on sample piece..

it's like pla plate. it comes in white gray color. I'm not sure if it comes in different color. It's cheaper than pla plate and I bought mine outside malaysia by the meter. Can't remember the exact width but I payed around rm3 after conversion. Easy to sand and cut but if you apply to much pressure it will break easily. I used it to model wolverine claws. It was introduced to me by a college buddy of mine.He's been using it on his gundam customs. He just won first prize last year on GBWC 2011 Philippine open so my best guess is it can work for customs.. but I'm not really sure though..

spray can paint.

assemble first,Have an overall look at the model and how to approach the paint job. look for all the seams that need to be filled.
paint brushing needs practice and skills.. go for spray can if your in a hurry to paint your model.

anchor spray can is around RM7, so definitely cheaper..

try asking tkting, compressor + air tank (with hose already). You only need to buy the airbrush. Cheapo airbrush will be fine. Invest on higher end when you're pro enough


Mr Hobby or Tamiya Acrylics. You can paint brush or airbrush.
flesh tone depends on your taste. You can straight use flesh or do color combi. either flesh+orange or flesh+red as based color.

bought mine from him RM400, compressor+air tank( hose is already included). Normal cheapo airbrush is around RM80~90.

what type of paint you're using?
your based paint should be different from from panel line paint. Panel line usually enamel, your based paint should be non-enamel or top coated with non-enamel. In that way when your cleaning the excess using lighter fluid/enamel thinner only the enamel paint will be remove.
