quite normal de. in fact spraying top coat too thick, or too many layers might coz the color become lighter. But most of the time the color fade is due to frosting.

however, sometime I do full use this color fade effect to lighten my post shading in case I accidentally apply too dark color on it. (Note: applicable to white color part only)

Is there any tips for samuel decal because for some reason when i put it in water, it instantly leave the decal backing. (or this just normal ?)

My question is, can I use Gundam Marker (Silver) to colour it? Or MUST I use paint (like Mr. Hobby)?

What about the Gundam Marker (Silver)? So far I can find the Gundam Marker but I cannot find the Tamiya Marker lol..that's why I'm hoping if I can use the Gundam Marker..

1. If i straight build and thinking to perform flat top coat, should i panel lining 1st before top coat?

2. Can i still apply sticker, water decal or dry transfer after top coat?

hi guys need to ask. i'm looking for spray paint can for my gundam.

i understand somewhere in this thread the reco one is krylon and anchor. i just need a double confirmation that these will work fine and wont eat into my plastic. And mayb i know where to get them?

i'm thinking of spraying without primer as well. isit posible to do so with these spray cans?

You do need to mix with lacquer thinner (not sure if other type of thinner can) because out of the bottle the paint is quite rough. I usually mix about 1:2 ratio.

Just curios what kind of paint is good for hand painting, need some advice from sifu. I currently using lacquer paint but found it is not easy to apply which is when I apply 2nd layer it will remove the previous layer that I applied earlier... I think it is cause by leveling thinner or maybe my problem because I not familiar with hand painting  . Other than that I also don't like the glossy finish by lacquer paint

Looks nice but still too glossy on the gun    But not a problem because can use flat top coat as Khai62 mentioned. Btw have you try enamel paint before? I heard it is good for hand painting also.

I use a flat plastic ice cream spoon and wet fingers.

for epoxy putty using hands is fine i think
