Overall, performance quite ok, some periodical brilliance at times, Glen Johnson silly mistake, but we won, sucks to lose on away goals ruling.

extra time..pool player sure very tired..good for Chelsea this weekend

hmm, i dont blame the away goal rule either because i think its a great rule to have in the first place as it means that team playing away 'dont park their bus' in front of goal. however, what i dont understand is, to me, the tie is 1-1 after normal time. 90 mins in calderon, 90 mins in anfield. so doesnt the away goal rule just applies to this ? it wouldnt be fair because athletico has more time due to aet to score the away goal, compared to us in the first leg. do i make any sense ? lol. call me a sore loser whatsoever i thought the tie was evenly played out from both legs.

however, didnt expect much though from the season we had have, all there is to look forward to this summer is the world cup and then how things are gonna change for us, financially and manegerial wise and our ability to attract players.

on a more positive note, would hope that the appointment of the australian sports doc would help us, someone posted a link earlier, and would love to see aqua to start in a few matches in a row to judge him properly. and i'm done with babel personally, i had faith in his ability and technique and once again in 120mins, i would say he's nt good enough for the liv shirt though he did trackback on a few occasions and thats new. no wonder wenger didnt pursue him after scouting him.
