Kenny or Rafa's current Asst is GOOD enough, unless Jose is interested enough to help the Kop to regain the BPL fr Chelsea.......

who knows, this Special One hav lots of money and he might juz do it for free juz to revenge his sacking by Roman

hello Chelsea, it was obvious tat we "gifted" you the opening goal by non other than our Captain Marvel thumbup.gif

now, its time to repay us by taking FULL points on your last match to denied  manU the number 19 title icon_idea.gif

do the needy or ELSE....................

its the first time gerrard do that arrr?..i'm sure gerrard did that b4 this..no matter when playing for england or liverpool..so obviously gerrard not doin it on purpose..he has bad history with backpass..and one more thing those backpass juz sums up his poor season..one of the main reason liverpool performed badly nod.gif shakehead.gif

Mix FM roped on Shebby this morning to have a go at Liverpool and more specifically Rafa.
I would admit that I am one of the more critical voices against Rafa here, but it is bloody annoying when one hears a Man Utd and Hotspur fan saying that we rolled over and played dead for Chelsea. And Shebby saying that this season is solely down to the imcompetance of Rafa doh.gif Come on, even the staunchest anti-Rafa supporter realises that despite him having played no small part in this season's farce, the yank muppets are equally as guilty, if not more so.

As for the Gerrard backpass, the lad's had a rough season so let's not be second guessing him, shall we. Let's not question his integrity.

Btw, the look on Reina's face around the 70ish minute mark... brought tears to my eyes... never seen a player look so sad and demoralised before. The boy has played his heart out this season, and unlike others who constantly declare their 'love' for the club to the press, that one close up alone shows you how much Liverpool means to Reina. Good lad, that.
*
reina = thumbup.gif

gerrard = doh.gif

its juz make my stand stronger bout gerrard is not good enough to become captain for liverpool..in fact mascherano, reina or even carragher can be a better captain..sorry to gerrard fan boyz but thats the truth nod.gif nod.gif

Gerrard's performance has been inconsistent this season. It could be the injuries. He has never recovered mentally since the last "bar brawl" incident.
Nevertheless, in my opinion, Gerrard is still the most influential player in Liverpool.
He knows he has the responsibility to lead the team whenever he wears the captain armband. He has the quality.

However, I think Carragher is virtually NO IMPACT at all.
Both Reina and Torres are good candidates to be vice-Captain of Liverpool.
Just my 2 cents.
*
i think theres a difference between impact players & a leader on the pitch...rooney is not a leader/captain on the pitch but still he's a big impact player for m.u...u can be a no impact player but at the same time be a captain on the pitch..but to say carragher has no impact for liverpool is not the right word...he may not score goals, but his commitment and influence to other players especially defenders were immense...juz ask arbeloa! rolleyes.gif

I don't see there is love-hate relationship in between Gerrard and Rafa.
Rafa likes Steve G. He is still the first choice player as long as he's fit to play.
No problem.

What's worrying is the inconsistent performance of Steve G.
there were times this season when i really hope that rafa drop gerrard from starting lineup juz to make him wake up from his slumber..but what to do,rafa trust gerrard 1000% even if gerrard was in poor form..he's a captain anyway nod.gif rolleyes.gif

4) I was at The Library with some of the myRawk boys on Sunday. When we belted out the Rafa song, it made me think of better times, times when we sang with gusto, with passion and not out of bitter irony. I can't believe that I am saying this, but let's give Rafa one last shot to make things right. shocking.gif

i like this quote...1 bad season and we all turn against rafa..i tot all this while we are the best supporters in the world..in times like this rafa really needs our support

actually i have been wondering, if MU fans can come out with red knight, how come the pool fans never come out with red liverbird or something?

Added on May 5, 2010, 9:52 amIm sure that with the amount of fans we have, 500m to buy out teh club should be possible. and definitely, if the fans have 500m to buy, the yanks will have to sell. right?

u do know that our fanz has that right??...much much longer than redknight from m.u rolleyes.gif

we or most of our liverpool fans dont see past the missdeeds of the monsters mr hicks jekyll & gillett hyde.
it has always been seen/remembered as rafa's fault for buying 'mediocre' grade C players, & his complicated team tactics, despite glaring evidence as such as the above link & many, many more.

"au revoir" may be too soon but the way how mountainous the turmoil is stack against the club, he (rafa) is an easy target.

My biggest fear is, I rate rafa as being the pillar to what we have built (team) bar this season results & by removing him sparks the exodus (or domino effect<dread this) of the likes of gerrard, javier, benny, lucas, reina, torres (NOoooo)... icon_question.gif
*
our spending on bench players is not even close to villa...true hard evidence that rafa manage on shoe string budget...wow!! shakehead.gif

Benítez will name Jack Robinson as a substitute for Liverpool’s trip to Hull City tomorrow. Should the 16-year-old left back make his debut, he will be the youngest player to represent the club, beating the record held by Michael Owen.

Defender Danny Wilson is expected to agree a move from Rangers to Liverpool in the next seven days.

The 18-year-old has just over a year left on his contract and had turned down the new deal on offer to him.

Liverpool had a previous bid turned down but have returned with an improved offer in the region of £2m plus add-ons that Rangers have deemed acceptable.

The Ibrox club stood to lose the player for around £500,000 in compensation had he not been sold this summer.

Wilson, who made his debut in October, was recently voted PFA Scotland young player of the year, having made over 20 appearances - two in the Champions League - and scored once this season.

Injury ended his campaign prematurely, but he will leave Ibrox with winners' medals from Rangers' Scottish Premier League and Co-operative Insurance Cup triumphs.

Jack Robinson became Liverpool's youngest ever player when he came on against Hull City on Sunday aged 16 years and 250 days.

The Warrington-born defender broke a record set by Max Thompson, who made his debut at the age of 17 years and 129 days in 1974.

Though Robinson replaced Ryan Babel on the left of midfield at Hull, his natural position is at full-back.

He first trained with Rafael Benitez's first team ahead of our Europa League clash with Benfica in March.

"Jack was okay," the boss told us after that session. "He was a little bit shy at first, a little bit quiet.

"But the senior players were helping and supporting him. The first training session is never easy but little by little he was better."

Remarkably, Robinson hasn't even figured for the Reserves yet - though he has been one of the stars of Rodolfo Borrell's U18 team this term.

His main attributes are his determination and an ability to get forward and produce the goods in the final third.
