the way life developed is very complex, the link are already a very condense version of the story that span 4.6 billions years.

Wow...in that case, what have you done in preparation for doomsday? Take out all your money and shop till you drop? Confess to the guy you love? Build a special boat that can survive the flood?

Boat might not be useful as most predictions say that a planet will crash into earth or we will be incinerated by the sun's ray.

I cant really give up everything even though i believe its coming. All i can do is live life to the fullest each day and make myself and others around me happy. No more being stingy and save for the future as there might not be any future be. Just do whatever I feel like doing. Even if 2012 is not the end of the world i wont regret wat i did because it really changed me into a happier person.

if doomsday are coming soon there is really no use to tell everyone, who good with it do, no one can change doomsday and everyone will just have no future to look forward to.

yeah...right. You said of doomsday in 2012 but you still hoping you live pass 2012. And living everyday to the fullest huh? Doesn't that means buying whatever you want and going wherever you like? Tell me about your typical living fullest example? Doesn't everyone WANT to live happily everyday? You are using words like "might" but then said you BELIEVE it's coming. Really lots of contradiction. I don't know whether to call you hypocrite or undecided.

yup i believe its coming but inside me i put some hope that it isnt true. Nobody wants to believe that the end of the world is actually coming and be happy right.. Its like prayer when u face difficulties you pray that better will turn out. Are you saying prayer is also hypocrite?

People want to live happily everyday but they always save up their money for the future and supress their current desire. Now since the end of the world is coming, you dont have to supress and save for the future like before.

I use the word might for the boat part as nobody knows how the end of the world will be coming. And i dont believe flood will kill us but other things which are more dangerous like the sun's ray or some asteroid shit

Sorry for making fun of this thread but here's a nice vid that talks about the very phenomena and reasoning behind people raising concerns about 2012 "alignment of inter planetary stars/planets with each other in our solar system and that line subsequently aligning with the centre or mean line of the milky way"

But the fun part is , it contains quite a lot of counter arguments to the proponents of the theories with facts drawn from experts and NASA that disproves the theory behind 2012.

With my shallow knowledge of 2012, I don't think I'll be exploring much beyond this and say I do not believe the end of the world is in 2012.

quite interesting the video. But everyone either belive or dont have their own views and research proof to support their believe. It will be an unending debate until the day comes
