So what does the article say specifically about how life developed on earth ?

(I'm just asking because I really dislike people posting massive links without having have read it themselves etc)

Wow...in that case, what have you done in preparation for doomsday? Take out all your money and shop till you drop? Confess to the guy you love? Build a special boat that can survive the flood?

I did. But you're not invited.

Boat might not be useful as most predictions say that a planet will crash into earth or we will be incinerated by the sun's ray.

I cant really give up everything even though i believe its coming. All i can do is live life to the fullest each day and make myself and others around me happy. No more being stingy and save for the future as there might not be any future be. Just do whatever I feel like doing. Even if 2012 is not the end of the world i wont regret wat i did because it really changed me into a happier person.

Am still going to make a boat.

Sorry for making fun of this thread but here's a nice vid that talks about the very phenomena and reasoning behind people raising concerns about 2012 "alignment of inter planetary stars/planets with each other in our solar system and that line subsequently aligning with the centre or mean line of the milky way"

But the fun part is , it contains quite a lot of counter arguments to the proponents of the theories with facts drawn from experts and NASA that disproves the theory behind 2012.

The video is about 8 minutes.

With my shallow knowledge of 2012, I don't think I'll be exploring much beyond this and say I do not believe the end of the world is in 2012.

quite interesting the video. But everyone either belive or dont have their own views and research proof to support their believe. It will be an unending debate until the day comes

Good point. I'm just another student of logical reasoning and find comfort in them when they are intelligently put together like the video. Maybe I can't claim I believe if the end of the world will be 2012 but I should say I believe what the video said is true. Cheers

Yup. Did you watch the3 second part of the video? In the end it mention that he believes the prophecy in bibles are true and he bibles also did predict the end of the world. The video guy is still searching for answers whether to believe or not

Yea, I just watched it. Interesting revelation and that was pointed to me from something long ago. I do not read the bible, so maybe if anyone that does it could quote the section that pertains specifically to this end of the world in 2012 so called - return of Jesus ?

Ok, now I remembered - from that movie "Knowing" - where future events were predicted precisely by a run of numbers. (That just gave me goosebumps)
But still I'm really interested all of a sudden now to know exactly what the bible said regarding 2012AD.

Link to second vid here

I'll see the video if you have a link for me.

But for now I'll do some ad hoc researching on this and return later smile.gif

What makes you think the 'bible' itself is not flawed? Remember that the gospels compiled were done selectively and many 'other' gospels were omitted by the authorities.

I don't remember. Could you give me some examples of omitted gospels? Other than Gospel of the Hebrews ?
