Yup. U need to wipe data/ cache or else will stuch at boot cycle

by the way, how can we set it to install apps on memory card after rooting the phone?

did u wipe it??



it will stuck at the "X" logo for slightly longer time actually, just wait.
if doesnt start

go back to recovery mode. wipe it.
and flash with CM again.

it should work.

at setting go to appllication, tick apps2sd, after that all your apps will save at memory card.

i can see app2sd, but i cant tick it, its like disabled. Any chance to enable it. By the way I cant see Market Icon too. There are only a few icons on the phone after flashing it using Cynoegen v5.06

I think U need to format your SDcard to Ext3 format too.

Just use Amon Recovery to do it. You have option to do it. Backup your data as this process will erase all your data

manage to partition my sd card on nexus, apps2sd is working now. But there is no Market icon on my phone. Any chance to install them?

Normally I choose the xtra one as I notice xtra one seems better and smoother.

xtra - more cgroup options (debug disabled), namespaces support (excluding network), deadline i/o scheduler, v4 block device + data integrity support, 3d register driver, & 3 erratas applied.

I flashed CM 5.0.7-N1-T2 with Pershoot Kernel ady. Not bad..very smooth. Still havent notice any bug yet. App2SD work out of box. I didnt even need to wipe data/cache with upgrade from CM5.0.6 smile.gif

After rooting and flashing my N1 to Cynogen v5.06, I cant find Market Icon on my phone, is that normal?

not normal. I flash few roms Modaco desire rom, CM5.0.6 and CM5.0.7 all have market place.

can you give me the link to the rom which you have downloaded?

Bro, I have rooted my N1, installed Customer Recovery Image and Custom ROM, am I doing the right thing?

Do I have to install 'Kernel' seperately? And I didnt backup during my flashing, is that the cause?

and now i want to try alpha-r21-update-modacocustomrom-nexusone-desire-withadditions-a2sd-signed.
but no matter how everytime i flash it, it show E:Can't open /sdcard/alpha-r21.zip (bad).
any clue??

I think there is a problem with Modaco server. Paul mentioned it on the Desire thread.
Also, Please checksum first, make sure it match before you flash.
