btw, does google webstore for nexus one can choose to buy 2 units and ship to singapore? Cant check because must verify credit card... By right shipping 2 units at 1 shipment should be cheaper right?

hey guys, i got my nexus one quite a few months ago, now i am really into customizing it since I have the time to learn now,

firstly i wanna upgrade my micro SD card to 32 gig, the salesman advice me to check on whether the phone can accept 32gig smoothly and whether is it brand biased... so, does the nexus one accept 32gig smoothly and is it brand biased? what brand do you guys use and how is it so far?

currently there's no 32GB micro SDHC selling in the malaysia.
i've opted for 16GB kingmax micro SDHC class 4.. pretty good i would say.

and.. found a very good link to share... to download the latest ROM.

i just checked that if want to install apps to SD..
1) A2SD is required.
2) need to partition your SD card with FAT32 and EXT?? (some bro please clarify, because i haven't done it yet)

for 2) Yes, U need to partiton your SD card first. Can do it at RA recovery mode's "Partition SDcard"

will this action wipe all my files out?

Yes. Please copy all data to other place like yr PC's HDD before do partition

I have successfully installed CyanogenMod Nexus One 5.0.6-N1 on my Nexus

At first there is no Market, Talk, Maps icon on my dekstop, then I decided to Install Google Addon where all the icons is installed back.

Now I'm having a problem, whenever I open browser , its comes out error and force close.

So, I was hoping if anyone could assist me on this

No more online store for N1 after this? Donno if later Htc malaysia will provide original N1 to our country. If yes, price will surely go higher.

After rooting my N1 and installing it with CyanogenMod-5.0.6-N1, I have a few questions

1. I have Partitioned SD Card, enabled Apps2SD, Downloaded Market Apps will be installed on SD Card but it will still consume a little more space on phone memory, I have installed around 20 + apps, it has consume around 10mb of phone memory, is that normal? If No, how to rectify the problem?

2. After Installing CyanogenMod, I have some icon on my phone which is not there previously, its DevTools, SIMToolkit,Spare Parts and Terminal Emulator. Do we need to have this apps on the phone? Can we uninstall it safely without any problem.

3. I have also installed YXflash Player, which supports AVI, the apps was working perfectly before I rooted my phone and install custom rom but now it doesnt, always giving error and force close, any idea?

4. I have also installed APNDroid, i have disabled 3G but MMS is still enabled, but it still connect the browser and gtalk using 3G Connection. Some suugestion please.

why?? because of more RAM?
or u like the look for desire?? or optical instead of trackball?
spec wise not much different le.. if u talking about look then why not?
is ur own preferences.. google nexus one always give higher grade than HTC (thanks to googleeee)
even though is a HTC phone, some people don't know what the hell is HTC but they indeed know what is google.

I think Nexus still had an edge over desire in term of OS support.

Also, since Desire Kernel is officially out now from HTC. More and more Desire rom will ported to Nexus.

Also if your Nexus is rooted and flash to CM, you get wifi N too... Desire still dont have becoz turn off by HTC.

For the FM radio part, I bet those rom developer will cook up custom rom that enable it as well.

The future is more bright in term of OS support for Nexus.
