Hi guys, anyone mind telling me how come when i save contact it wont appear in my contact list?

I set it to mobile number. When i browse my contact list, i cant find it but when i do a manual search and key in the name, i will find it in the result

Anyone having this problem?

Guys how do i select my contacts in messaging(sms)?

When i click the 'To' nothing comes out(as in my contacts list),but i can only type numbers(keyboard pops out)..

Any solution for this?

It's an intelligent keypad, if you want to type faiz, 3249.

Mind to share the answer?
I am using Handsent SMS because of this problem in the default messaging program.

If like for other OS,before we write the message,we can choose who we want to send it to..How can i open up my contacts in messaging?

Added on April 26, 2010, 7:00 pmWhat i did mine is go to contacts-->menu-->import/export--->Import from sim card--->display option--->click email--->display all other contacts

For original Nexus SMS, you need to type the name and it will appear if only you set the contact number as mobile.

What he means is .....

the number pad got ABC right.

Example His name "Faiz" means you key as 3249.

Why is 3249? Because

3 = def
2 = abc
4 = ghi
9 = wxyz

** If you still not understand, then I don't know how to describe already. Hehe....

Below is the way to SMS if direct from contact.
- Click the Android face / the photo you put as contact, and it will pop up few option for you to choose, example call, sms, mail, and etc depends on how you set the contact.

press the blue button with a + symbol on top in the messaging app like handcent

previously i got the blackdot made from the pouch , but after i have put a cover case(epik) on it then the dot is surprisingly removed after a long time...im not sure how many days but jus few days before, i removed the case and i noticed that the dot is gone...@@...

Haha~ thankx dreamwar for the suggestion~ Looks like i am going to try it soon~ (^^) But i really dislike the ugly silicon case.. lol~ no much choices in getting a better looking pouch/ cloth for N1~

haha..ya the dots are really gone..so weird.....
anyways u can force the case into your pouch..=D

Else,remember to paste sp on it if u use the case...my screen was scratched without any notice...i never let any sharp thingy touch my n1 but still kena ...it was really weird again...

I have a white wallet and it get dirt on 1st day I use, my bad decision buying it.

I try extremely hard clean it up using any matter I can, but end up, it not clean up any part of it as well.

I bored let it be, and after few days (not sure how long, it is less than a week) the dirt part drop of by itself. hmmm...

I like the original black pouch le.. so sad if it is the cause of the black dots..
