Guys who are upgrading from previous CM version are highly recommended to wipe and do a clean install. This is a totally different firmware so clean install is always recommended

QUOTE(chewlf @ Apr 19 2010, 10:37 PM) Maybe I am too scare to brick my phone and I find the stock ROM is very stable. Flashing firmware is fairly simple..as long as u follow the instruction... Just that flashing radio might be dangerous

QUOTE(xavier7 @ Apr 21 2010, 12:06 PM) dude your phone's ok now? I dont have much knowledge in kernels, but for cm 5.0.6 to work with desire camera, you need to do something extra after flashing it, forgot what was it. Try googling xda forum / cyanogen's forum. My batt drain very fast with 5.0.6. Anyone having same issue? Feeling wanna drop back to 5.0.3

Export it to a vcf file. And then import it to your nexus via SD Card. That's what i did

Well, regarding black spots problems..I called in HTC Singapore today to ask for a replacement stating that it's obviously a defect from their side. They gave me the ticket number and asked me to go down to their centre personally so they can have a look at the device physically. I will update after I went down there and let you guys know about the results. P/S: My black spots are getting worse at the bottom..hopefully can get replacement and will use epik case from now on

QUOTE(kc_soo @ Apr 27 2010, 11:59 PM) Good job ivan.. lol. Waiting ur good news then. Btw.. the red nexus one logo behind my epik case is going to pill off. Hi everyone, Just got back from HTC service centre. Confirmed, they will provide casing replacement for such issues (black spots at the bottom). It seems to be a known issue caused by the Nexus One pouch! No questions asked..they will change your casing and it will take 3 working days This post has been edited by ivanlmh: Apr 29 2010, 02:32 PM

No..just bring the phone and they will have your details.
They said they only have the parts to repair at SG. I assume other countries would provide with a replacement unit. Plus, they never really checked for S/N details..meaning i guess US/UK set also applicable
The other good thing i forget to mention is they will deliver it to your doorstep when it's done. So no need to go back 2nd time..just provide with relative's address
