i don't think machine provide good after sell service...went there before for asking my mbp hardware question,but them act like nothing and ask me call for helpline...

as for me...
the service i got was not bad...
not the best but definitely not the worst...
i sent in my mbp at machines sunway....
to check what was wrong...
they even helped me to test a few configuration...
and advised if i want to send it in for repairs...going direct to the service center would be better....
so i went to MV...and at the service center...the technician told me they can do it...but the price to replace that small thing will be 800 upwards...
he even suggested to me to call Applecare which I did and manage to get a free repair! my MBP was out of warranty already that time.
after 2 weeks they called and the mbp was ready to be collected!!

maybe i was lucky...

and i even sent in my MBP the second time for a Snow Leopard reinstallation! They did it...but with a fee of coz!

maybe i was lucky the second time as well....

machines LCLY bcos got ppl who wld queue up even overnight to buy their products.

don't blame machines for their low level service. blame ur ownself.

if u wan them to improve, spread the message of their bad service so nobody buys from them. for sure, their service will improve.

btw, no use complaining in lyn. the audience is quite limited.

I agree that machines in sunway pyramid sucks. The way they serve ppl is damn bad and lousy I would say.
Istudy in subang parade is way better. They help me reformat my Mbp 2010 for free last time.

i've not come across to any reseller that provides free reformatting.

Ok im sad.. Im super angry..

I bought my MB from machines gardens, and last month my wifi card hardware got into problem. So ofcourse i will send back to machines gardens for repair. I send it on 9/9/2011..

Up till now 3 weeks i havent get my mb yet few more days it will turn 1 month in repair status.

I have been calling many time asking for update. Keep telling me still in process and will call me back.

I dont know what to do. Sometimes i feel my mb is like dead rest in peace

Is this machines game to do business? Because i read in their website, if i want to cancel repair and take back my mb i need to pay them money.

Since my mb is under warranty, it stated free exchange. So no business for machines.. Are they expected me to cancel repair and eat my money...

elfreakz, I would advice you to call applecare directly once it reaches two months and present your case to them.

while I understand your predicament as being left in the dark is the worst part but I assure you a month still seems plausible.

Under warranty repair should not have any charges. Be it cancel or not. Call AppleCare Malaysia ASAP as suggested. Make a case and file a complain at the same time.

I will make complaint tomorrow. I expected machines to be fast since they are like well known in malaysia with so many branches across the country.. But repair service so poor.. Dont tell me big company only 1 person do the repair. Cos the last call a lady told me they fix SO many mb now. So i believe the spare part is there, but nobody fix my mb. Feel like want to request " give me the spare part and i fix myself lol "

I doubt so, Apple have specific timeline for engineer to complete a job once the repair case is created. If you have your serial number I can check if theyve created the repair case. pm me.

speaking solely about macs, the cheapest place you could get it works.

warranty is international and you could send it to any authorised apple repair centre.

No, i mean customer services not servicing your mac. How they treat you like a customer.

My favorite Apple Reseller store in terms of service is Ascend Zone @ The Curve, Mutiara Damansara. I've sent in a lot of repairs for my Mac there and the work quality is excellent. Sadly I think they're either closed or have moved somewhere due to slow business.

I think as for right now, EpiCentre The Pavilion provides the best service and customer loyalty programme. They have discounts for accessories for members and also education discounts.
