Just came back from Teali, and according to them, people are buying most/all of their Dayi recently. They only have very few left (on the shelf).

They said Dayi pricing is increasing fast and speculation has already begun... New year product is more expensive that the older year same recipe. Prices are changing nearly everyday.
*
I am not surprised as tea prices of Dayi will goes up this year. Few weeks ago, Teali mentioned that they will not import Dayi this year due to high price over in China. As for me, I can always go for other tea like Xiaguan and Mengku. I have not been buying Dayi since 09.

How time has fly. It is 1 year since I started my tea adventure... So many times I have said 'Have to slow down', 'Try not to buy any more', 'Cut down' but it is not easy to control the craving for more tea  sweat.gif

this is exactly what happen to me also rolleyes.gif

Haha careful that tea is dangerous.  after drink i blur blur tongue.gif  Nice, i would like to have some of those tea again biggrin.gif

no worry you will cut down, i also buy alot of tea, but nowaday buy slowly as seem to me I probably can't drink finish all my tea... so i slowly buying.  Drinking chinese tea for me is more enjoyable if just sit on table with friend and drink whole day.  If drink alone is very sad indeed.  Like what i am doing now sad.gif

drink alone also enjoy, as long as u really love tea, not the feeling of being company smile.gif

drinking with friend have great rewards.

1. Your friend may have different brewing style (you try new methods) or
2. Different perspective (different way to enjoy tea) or
3. Drink tea while catching up or
4. Use some of your cup (buying tonne of cup that you never use) or
5. Ask question that challenge your knowledge of tea or
6. Show you his precious tea or
7. Share some info on water, how to treat your water (yes it exist) or
8. You all will drink in full course marathon rather dilathon or
9. Tell you where is the new bargain in town!!
10. Uh... talk about pretty girl?

RM15 is really cheap. I think this stock might be from collector who want to get rid of fast. The tea expo price also more expensive. This shui hsien is worth collecting as there are ppl who owned 20yr ++ version and now turns out great. I just havent got the chance to drink it.
