i went to hojo mid valley tested japanese green tea. i just realise i don't like japanese green tea because it have heavy seaweed smell(i hate seaweed). then she give me try chinese green tea long jeng, wow it's acceptable..might try to get some later. Any nice brand for chinese green tea?

I like that seaweed taste in the japanese green tea. Karigane -> Sencha -> Gyokuro
Their long jeng is 50g at RM380. But I think no longer fresh (or at its best performance) cause the one I bought from them isn't anymore, even it is fridge stored

So I think they try to clear it off. Greens are best to drink not long after their harvest. If they still sell at the expensive price, forget it... but if on sale, then Up2u.
Japanese Greens/ Chinese Greens hardly go by brand. If got brand is because it is being repacked by the shops or 3rd party. For Hojo, I like their Yun Feng Chinese Green Tea. It taste a bit like long jeng, but cheaper.

Agreed. The sticker can be imitated. Checking the sticker is only part of first step. The best way is still by tasting it. Most characteristics on the packaging of the tea can be imitated but not the quality of the tea itself.
My 'expert' dayi friend say Menghai/Dayi has a very unique taste in all their tea. The reason is because of the water they used. The water source is from a well only located in their factory which gives the unique taste.
I have yet to drink enough menghai/dayi to be able to tell the unique taste... only time and experience will gain that... so must drink more
