Hye, can anyone recommend good pu erh tea for drinking ? i realize there are hundreds of types with different company and with different wrappers and I have no idea how to choose. What to look for on the wrapper when we buy pu erh tea ? Any particular pu erh you guys can recommend ? either raw or ripe.

Like u asking about Red Wine Personally i prefer Riped Tea Green Label Year 2006-2007.. Yellow Label not to my liking. U have to try out ask Tea like Wine is very personal taste. |

Hmm. I guess the only way to find my favorite tea is by joining tea testing groups. I would love to join all of you but sadly im only based in Ipoh, Perak. Maybe if there is anyone in Ipoh, i would love to join. confused yet? if u stay around kl or selangor, you can tag along with a group of 20+ to 30+ year old for tea sessions. One thing i realize though, i may be wrong but i tried some ancient tree pu erh tea, and they old taste very old. Especially the one in purple cane tea house on their menu, i think they charge RM12 for a person. It's ancient pu erh tea. My house pu erh tea is also similar tasting to the one they serve. I wonder if there is other taste. |

Hello everyone - I am new to this thread and also tea drinking. I am looking to buy a moderate entry level teapot set. Can anyone give me a good recommendation on where to buy? PurpleCane ones (at least the one in KLCC) do not attract me with their design and HOJO ones (in The Gardens) are too expensive.

Try Ten Ren Tea at Jalan Sultan Ismail or Jalan Sultan Tea Shop (can't remember the shop name) there are 2 shop, there also some shop lot near South City Plaza (Serdang Perdana), can also check with our kawan quickstep at Viva Mall. |
