I hope to go there as well someday. Most of the teas i bought through online. I always admire the process of making tea that i saw on youtube and especially places like the high mountains, yunnan, linchang, and etc. I hope to visit those places some day and have a sip of tea smile.gif

For now just enjoy them at the comfort of my house.

I really admire chinese culture and tea ceremony. I'm an indian actually. I got into loving tea when I spent some time with my chinese friends during college and i also admired how sophisticated Chinese tea shops are to their craft and etc.

Drinking tea kinda makes me feel as if something spiritual has invoked within me and I love that feel smile.gif Hope i dont sound weird here.

1st one Li Ji (Should the name of the shop or manufacturer) Boss surname Li or Lee, like Malaysia Lee Kee or Cap Lee.. tongue.gif

2nd one written in ancient chinese quite difficult to read, can only see Zhao Yan ? ? (high possibility designer name.) unsure.gif

Bottom 3 word Jin Han Tao (Jin Han just the brand, Tao mean clay).

Thank you so much bro. I really appreciate it. I also just received an e-mail from purple cane and they also told me the same thing. Here is their translation.

赵炎监制 (Producer - Zhao Yan )
荆溪陶 (Work Shop - Jing Xi Tao)

It's always good to know about the symbols on the teapot and the makers name. Thanks bro for the help on translating it for me.

Ahggh what's Rock Tea ?? 岩茶 ??

,Not a fan for Da Hong Pao 大红袍, but i kind of like Rou Gui 肉桂, others like Tie Lo Han 铁罗汉 & shui jin gui 水金龟 never try yet, Da Con Chi Zhong 单丛奇种 also no bad.

Now i am in green tea trend mao feng 毛峰, mao jian 毛尖 & bi lo chun 碧螺春, also some unique japanese tea like kukicha.

Hi

Just join this forum
Has been tea drinker for long time
But tea drinking not as popular in KL

Yesterday just opened one new box of tea bought 8 years ago
Was a highlight item by 'zong cha' at that time.
After buy few boxes, i never see any of these for sale in market.
Any kaki here have bought this tea ?

Just "jar " it for few months before drinking

Looks promising

This is another tea bought when launched by PURPLE CANE many years ago.
Bought few pieces. Surprised me now new price on shelf 2*** /2000+ without discount rclxub.gif

Today is the 5 time sharing with my tea kaki.

Have a nice day

PS: not too bad. special puer with plum taste. 'YUN' also not too bad with long lasting sweetness/sign of ancient tea tree leaf.
