So, you might want to learn more on how to set a precise WB rather than telling people that you don't bother this and that. Simple as that.

btw..guys..can give give the super noob some pointers on wat software to use for resizing and adding watermark on photos? i uploaded a pic on flickr ori size 2mb plus,then added text on it as watermark..which is very time consuming and tiring..then i tried resizing pics using a free software i downloaded on the net called fotosizer or something..managed to get my pics smaller but the quality oso dropped tremendously

vikingw2k : So I like my PC Fair pics to be warm and don't bother to tune the WB each and every time I shoot at the fair. Is it so hard for you to accept that? I just go and shoot for fun and post them just for others to look at the pics.

I did not say that this is the right WB to set. Neither do I tell people to follow what I do.

And what makes you think that I don't know how to set WB?

Well well, I'm just stating my genuine comments and you are already on defensive mode. WB off is not something nice that everyone could just swallow it hence I commented on it. If you love your shots to be WB off then you may certainly go ahead.

Maybe 3 or 4 years later the lens already long discontinued. Hahaha~~

the price of lens quite stable compare to camera body...juz get it when the time you need it..haha

Maybe new models coming out like 17-50 f1.8? Hahaha. By the time no one using f2.8 Anything can happen, u'll never know.

Any sample pictures for us to judge? Most common ones are either too cold(blue-ish) or too warm (orange-ish).

Maybe they're gona produce a super light weight glass by then. So it might weigh as light as a 50mm. Purely speculations. Funny. Hahah~
