IR to B&W?

guys, i wonder tokina 11-16 better or sigma 8-16 better? sigma win in focal range but then lose in max aperture. i am also thinking about tamron 10-24, but i guess cant compare with the tokina and sigma, m i rite?

what if i only keep in my air cond room..in the dslr bag..my digital camera also no problem when taking pic at genting..


btw, last nite i tried to use Shutter priority mode..i tried with 1/4000...how come all the image is pitch black only..lol...

oh ya, guys.. wanna ask those who got the danbo from amazon.co.jp, how u all get it ya? coz i saw the website say cant b shipped out of japan.

Your shutter speed is too fast, cannot capture any light into the picture, hence image pitch black.

1/4000 is used in bright sun condition IINM, I shot at 1/2000 under the hot sun

no wonder...i tot my alpha gone crazy..xD...btw, u all got detach the lens from body when keep on bag?...

i find it so troublesome if need to keep on detach battery and lens when keep...xD

Keep on detaching increase the dust inside ur sensor. hahahaha...

Did you not use the exposure meter reading in the camera? use that to have a good guide of how much light (hence exposure) is appropriate. How to read??? read the manual laa.. haha

Everybody also has to learn. Good to start now... you have many friends here. Also try to attend any TT organised by the brothers/sisters here... can learn a lot

I suggest you first try the A mode (Aperture priority) ... ie turn the mode knob (dial) to A. Then set the aperture to the brightest aperture... eg 3.5 or 4.5. See the shutter speed reading... if too slow (eg if 1/30s or slower) then try using higher ISO eg 400 or 800 or even higher.
