zstan, its not a good lens... it is a GREAT lens...
but test betul-betul la... eg no back/front focus problem
later share photos shot using that lens ... ok?

The Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 has got to be the best 3rd Party lens I've ever used... well, actually, it's the only 3rd party f2.8 wide lens I've ever tested and it rocks on a700! don't regret 1 bit for buying that lens... going for 17-50, 28-75 & 70-200 for my lens collections...

My dad want to buy me a new tele fast lens for me .

Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG Macro HSM II and Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 Di LD (IF) Macro Lens which have better quality in term of sharpness , built , colour ?

Sigma in terms of AF speed. Tamron in terms of IQ. Sigma wont lose too much on IQ but Tamron lose alot in AF speed. LOL.

Sigma got HSM right ? Auto focus on the lens . Just went back from Mr. Chin's shop and have a try on both lens . And we need to consider first which one better . RM600 difference wo :/ Help

will let go my Sigma 170-500 F5-6.3 APO Aspherical later

tested 17mm & 50mm.... @ f2.8

tat "bigma" for birds/animals... not a kaki skodeng....
now sourcing for teleconverter... 1.4x or 2.0x....

when taking pic, first focus then take pic
then the lens looses focus, is this normal ??? (using AF mode , not CF or SF focussing mode)
had problem if doing continuous shooting..
first shot in focus, others OOF
