Umm yea kinda agree but it also depends as now the MacBook Pro 13" Alu is almost the same price as the MacBook White.... So in order to sustain the demand for the macbook white .

There are 2 possibilities, 1 will be to decrease the macbook white price/upgrade the macbook white which the latter isnt quite possible before MBP 13" is upgrade, number 2, they will upgrade the Macbook Pro 13"...So its still unclear which will they go for =D only SJ will know haha

the pricing has always been the same without any difference in the US, only the malaysian price for the MBP has decreased because of the appreciating ringgit value..

So far it has been there since Malaysian Apple store is established till now.... So dont think it will end unless of course like previous forumers highlighted if many non students used the education price and found out by apple, they might remove the education price or maybe tighten the procedure in applying for one. =D

I agree with you. And to add to that, IMO, the current price structure is good for apple. Imagine this, you wanna buy MB white at RM3599 and you realize that the entry level MBPro 13" is just RM3899 (just RM300 more). It's very likely that you might be tempted to buy MBP instead of MB white, which is good for apple because you are spending more. smile.gif

@sumtuckiee dont need... Just restart and use the battery till it forces to sleep...

@xirality Just read the terms and conditions before proceed with the buying... Maybe if you have elder siblings that studies in colleges/unis then just go ahead... Shouldnt be a problem but be prepared if you are chosen by apple to prove that you are a student.. Its random though...

@zeeker87 nice... enjoy your MBP? =D

@sumtuckieee .. why on earth you need to calibrate a newly charged MBP? With newer battery, I believe you really need to do this sparingly ..

Yes the link i gave is for first charge.... But you havent finish calibrating so maybe you should try to use till the macbook autosleeps and recharge your macbook to full again after that and you are good to go... Calibration only done once a month

Added on April 25, 2010, 12:39 amAgree with Hanxz... All those stated in the website is based on very light usage and differs from every single one of us.... If you play music/video/games definitely wouldnt last you for 10 hours..

By the way, I remember that we've got to format our drive to FAT32 so that we could use it on our mac. THe thing is, I think I read somewhere that it'll somehow limit us to transfer 3GB only right? Is there any ways to overcome this?
