Oh what happened.. After restart is it back to normal? Maybe the macbook didnt really get warm up yet... So shouldnt be a problem just a small hiccup... Or it may due to your office network that made it hang... You can try again to connect to the network and see if it reoccurs again..
*
your mbp hang??? thats super odd..my powerbook never froze up in the 5 yrs i used it..how is it now?

Added on April 23, 2010, 2:32 pmoh and one more thing..for those of you with antiglare screens..i suggest you calibrate your screens...fixes the slightly washed out color issue

wow.. hmmm
if u have router with network port, u can use LAN cable to transfer right? actually writing in NTFS tru network is ok one is it? just writing in NTFS formatted external harddisk cannot only? right?
*
thru LAN is alright i suppose. my work's network concise of both mac and windows. Writing tru network or ext harddisk will be enabled with the aforementioned program

My MBP

Added on April 23, 2010, 3:10 pmNow I'm wondering, is the MBP 15" ram compatible with iMac 27"? tot of swapping the MBP rams to the iMac while I just buy 4gb x 2 for MBP. And which brand most suitable?

Thanks for any help.

@mememe12 Is it true that if you transfer through LAN port its compatible? I have a router with 4 LAN ports.. maybe could set it up and see its doable or not... Anyone know the settings to enable data transfer through LAN ports? Never actually tried before to transfer data through LAN ports

i have a simple question.. just wonder how u guys handle your documents and folders...

in PC i used to:
C drive: programs and windows
D drive: for working purposes
E drive: for entertainment, music or some games..

in Mac.. how you organise it? i plan to:
1) go finder, then click on computer name at the PLACES there..
2) besides the Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Library, Movies.... I created 2 FOLDERS... one is WORK(i copy all my stuff from my D drive in PC to here) and one is ENTERTAINMENT folder (where i copy everything from my E drive in PC)..

is my way of organising correct? or is there any better way? hope to hear from u guys.. smile.gif

the texture of the aluminum is not as great and smooth as the previous generation macbook pro, and the power adapter although the new slim jack is nice, the cable is rough as well.

dunno what apple is thinking this time. hmm.gif

my MBP hang again.. this time i know what is the problem already.. but i dunno the solution yet..

when i have network drive connected.. for dunno wat reason.. i cant connect to my server tru finder..

then i press eject also nothing happen (the drive still there with an eject icon beside)

then since i cannot connect to my network.. i relaunch Finder... and.. i got this error "the application finder cannot be opened 10810"

and my finder cannot open d..

i search tru google and found ppl having the same problem but no solution yet..

anyone know how to solve?

------------------------
added:
this problem happened when the mounted drive restart or the mounted drive sleep.. then when we wanna access to the mounted drive again.. it stucked..

i believe this is the cause... icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

altho a hard-restart will solve this problem.. but i m trying to find a method to solve without restarting the Mac..
