For raw editing, I have not tried it yet. But I am editing 10mb jpeg files which is around the size of a single raw Pretty smooth and it does the job well. Very impressed. Tried installing all my canon camera drivers and it works really well. I love it when I use my MB as a remote for my camera and I really like the outcome on the screen

ordered mine on monday evening
now backing up all my stuffs over to the new one

i only have one grudge.
the texture of the aluminium surface is not as smooth as the previous gen tak suka lah

Im not sure about the old gen but I feel that its smooth already... =D maybe after using for some time it will wear and smoothen it haha.. But im sure many ppl will use something to protect it to wear out..

many ppl are backing up and transferring to their new mac while I couldnt transfer as I dont have any mac previously.. need to wait my new HDD, format then only can transfer =(

Yeap they will call... They called me 1 hour before they deliver the MBP to me... Called me at 8.30am and reached my doorstep at 9.30am =D

Shouldnt be a problem... Where are u staying btw? Is it somewhere nearby your housing area? Cause mine was quite near DHL branch so thats why they send to me first...

why are u waiting for a new hard disk? if compatibility issue, u could try this program called ntfs-3g. I allows mac osx to read and write nfts partitions. I use it at work on me iMac. Helped loads. If it's not compatability issue, i cant help you.

i'm staying in kl.. i just called dhl they said it will arrive before 5 w00T~

duno why im still so excited.. not like its my first MBP lol..

@starccs Oh I dont have any external HDD now actually so I have already ordered a new one and waiting for it to arrive.. Wouldnt want to transfer my whole load of files using my 4GB pen drive =P..

@jind87 haha nice... Eventhough its not your first but its still your 1st new upgraded MBP... Its counted as new right? =)

if u have router with network port, u can use LAN cable to transfer right? actually writing in NTFS tru network is ok one is it? just writing in NTFS formatted external harddisk cannot only? right?
