Thing is Steam does not have all the paradox games, I had to go out of my way to get their Achtung Panzer - Kharkov 1943 from gamersgate (as Paradox said apparently Steam did not want to put it in, guess it's too niche for Steam).
It's kind of a remake of Close Combat if you ever played it. In full 3D with some good operational level strategy. It's far from mainstream strategy game but it's pretty good and gamersgate have some offer for it once in a while (I bought it at 50% about 2 weeks back). Made by a 4 man team of Ukraine, the dudes actually live near Kharkov so the maps are mostly the real looks and all.

Yeah that one was published by Paradox. Developed by a Russian dev. I tried the demo. I felt it didn't give me enough information(In terms of whats going on with my units on the frontline or in combat). The battle felt like a mystery and controlling the units a bit clunky. But I'm sure it's good. I admit I didn't give that one enough time to sink in.

I think the other Paradox game I would get if it was released on Steam is Crusader Kings. Other than that, nothing else. I'm sure Paradox's own titles will be released on steam from now onwards, which means I think you can find Semper Fi(releasing on D-Day I heard) and Victoria 2 later.

I have to admit I bought it since it was on offer and I was looking at it for quite a while, but havent got the time to really play it much (just some quick battle to see how it goes).
Interface looks to need time to get used though.

When you buy Orange Box, the only gift copy you'll receive is Half Life 2. All other duplicates will not be put into your account. It's stated on their FAQ page.

Still worth it even if you were not going to have 2 copies of Half Life Portal.

Or you could wait for a bigger discount.
