Also The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom got released. It a USD 5 indie game. Really cool game. I respect these guys. They could have charged more if they wanted to.
Added on April 21, 2010, 12:50 pmAlso for those thinking about getting Deus Ex, just ignore Invisible Wars. Save money and get the game of the year edition for 2 bucks instead. This post has been edited by frags: Apr 21 2010, 12:50 PM |

QUOTE(Edison83 @ Apr 27 2010, 10:01 AM) the UI change onli the store ad community page for me, it seem didnt change my games... which is good.... really scare the damm steam redownload some of my games again You need to open the file menu and click on check for steam client updates. The games tab has been changed to a library with sub tabs called tools and media. It does run a lot faster which is always a plus. |

Total War discount. Napoleon gets 33% discount.
Added on May 21, 2010, 1:06 amOkay other than napoleon, the mega pack is the only thing discounted, ie the individual games are full price so if you own some of them, then its a bad deal. This post has been edited by frags: May 21 2010, 01:06 AM |

QUOTE(Gormaz @ May 21 2010, 12:07 PM) Sigh, even when going through my office proxy (in HK) I can't see any of the Sega games... Empire and Napoleon are not available on Steam for East Asia. Yeah all SEGA games. This was an issue a few people complained about when Empire was going to be released. It has to do with SEGA jp and distribution rights.Guess no Napoleon.... |

QUOTE(Gormaz @ May 26 2010, 12:17 PM) Well, it's paradox games anyway, they are pretty notorious for releasing buggy games but they usually fix them after all and provide good and long support for the games, it's just takes a while Do you have In Nomine? I heard it's damn good. Tempted to get the EU3 bundle just because of that. It's not only HoI games, more or less all their games are like that. But yar, HoI had some major flaws at first (which kinda made Japan impossible to play since it could not be supplied properly for example...) but most are supposed to be fixed by now. Performance had some major issues too especially since they put such an advance system for weather simulation it was hogging CPU like crazy (and yes, weather simulation has a point into a wargame, planes couldnt do crap by bad weather in WW2). These are also supposed to be fixed. I believe the sales is for the upcoming Semper Fi expansion for HoI3 that is coming up in few months, they probably want more people having the game so they are tempted to buy the xpac. I think I will pass on EU3 though, not enough time for such a time consuming game right now when I got so many other stacked @kianweic: Majesty 2 is not bad, not a super duper good game but it can keep you entertained for a while. |

I got EU3 complete. Now I got the entire main library of Paradox stuff on Steam. Probably i'll wait for Victoria 2 to get a discount. Because Civ5 I gotta get that first day. HOI 3 expansion Semper Fi I'll wait.

QUOTE(Gormaz @ May 26 2010, 06:54 PM) Thing is Steam does not have all the paradox games, I had to go out of my way to get their Achtung Panzer - Kharkov 1943 from gamersgate (as Paradox said apparently Steam did not want to put it in, guess it's too niche for Steam). Yeah that one was published by Paradox. Developed by a Russian dev. I tried the demo. I felt it didn't give me enough information(In terms of whats going on with my units on the frontline or in combat). The battle felt like a mystery and controlling the units a bit clunky. But I'm sure it's good. I admit I didn't give that one enough time to sink in.It's kind of a remake of Close Combat if you ever played it. In full 3D with some good operational level strategy. It's far from mainstream strategy game but it's pretty good and gamersgate have some offer for it once in a while (I bought it at 50% about 2 weeks back). Made by a 4 man team of Ukraine, the dudes actually live near Kharkov so the maps are mostly the real looks and all. I am still considering EU3 I think the other Paradox game I would get if it was released on Steam is Crusader Kings. Other than that, nothing else. I'm sure Paradox's own titles will be released on steam from now onwards, which means I think you can find Semper Fi(releasing on D-Day I heard) and Victoria 2 later. |

QUOTE(ashx @ Jun 4 2010, 06:51 PM) Can't seem to find the info that says they're porting FoW mods to MoW. Anyway, Steams has Mow: Gold edition which includes Red Tide...urgh decision! And i think another expac is coming.. Assault squad. Save your money and just get MoW. Assault Squad is standalone multiplayer focused. You can buy it when it releases. The Faces Of War mission Pack is a mod made by the devs. It is available for anyone who has MoW for free. Info on the steam forums. |

WHat? Deimos you went out of your way to buy a new PC but never get a new OS? I think you are missing so much. XP is outdated. For your Netgear USB device, try checking now, they ought to have a driver available by now.
