junk0460,
real billing address, or else credit card company (our local bank) cannot approve.

Country = United States
State = AL (first option in the drop down list)
*
As far as I know billing address has little to do with credit card transactions.

Card number, security number, expiration date and the name on it are the only things important.

The country thing is only because of Steam IP check, otherwise bank do not care about that either.

As for free proxy, since I am now in china and due to the stupid censor I looked around for lots of free proxies, most of them sucks or are not safe enough for me to consider sending my credit card details on.

Personally I ended up "using" my company's VPN...

If you don't have Portal yet, do it.

It's worth your time smile.gif

Now with the E3 coming up soon, I guess that might hint to Valve releasing more info about Portal 2 or (god Forbid) Episode 3...

WTB E3 NAO!

Torchlight gets a bit boring after a while, though.

Thats probably the only problem with it.
*
Yep. agreed.

I just kinda wished that once you finished the main adventure in one difficulty mode you could restart it with same toon but harder like in Diablo.

Instead they have infinite random dungeons which are not as fun, gets boring after a bit.

Still quite alright of a game for the price.

I got one failed also when trying to checkout today at the last step.

I tried again and it worked.

Could be servers getting swamped yar, I am in China so at least kinda confirm it's not local Malaysian network issue only

To those who has Civilization 4, there would be some duplicate games in your Steam list. Don't be alarmed, those duplicates are likely to be for Mac OS and do not affect your playable Civilization 4.

Haaa, now that's why you had that.

I will check tonight if I also have it, did not notice it yesterday.

I do hope Steam is not going to show double for all the games that have mac version.... the game list will get super duper bloated with that...

If it's that 5Gb limit thinggy:

Use a small free tool to break that 5Gb file into smaller pieces.

Copy to USB disk

Copy to destination PC

Use the "merge" function of above free tool

I have no idea on a name of such a tool right now but you can easily find one on google, there are heaps of free ones

Worst come to Worst use winrar and ask him to split it into archive of X size smile.gif

Majesty 2 is not bad at all actually. it's a small city building game with some RPG elements into it.

Basically you control a small town and build buildings.

Then you hire heroes to fight monsters on the map, the catch is that you do not control the heroes directly, instead you put some "flags" on the map where you want them to do something ("Explore flag" to have theme explore areas of the map, "kill flags" to fight monsters etc.).

Then you associate money (that you earn from your town) to the flags, if you put enough then only they will do the actions associated with the flags.

Heroes can earn levels, learn new abilities at the building in your camp and if you want high level heroes to perform flag actions you need to put money than for low level ones.

It's not a bad game, but its not that great either, good for a moment but it has some gameplay flaws (sometimes the heroes are a bit stupid and will really do nothing if you don't give them money)
I read the 1st one was actually better in some points.

Edit: man I am really getting annoyed by Railworks spam in Specials...

These SSA keys are only used by a few games so far, you must have only the non SSA games.

Cheese gave some links to some sources where it was confirmed about this whole SSA business, he got screwed up once with it and definitely know what he is talking about.

Same here, I am a sucker for sales tongue.gif

EU3 is interesting but it's yet another game that needs lot of time (I already have HoI3, which I barely touched yet, not enough time really)

Hum, thing is, I am not sure if that EU3 complete edition includes the Heir to the Throne paid thing

Edit2: looks like Heir to the Throne is not included since its sold separately on Steam

Well, it's paradox games anyway, they are pretty notorious for releasing buggy games but they usually fix them after all and provide good and long support for the games, it's just takes a while
It's not only HoI games, more or less all their games are like that.

But yar, HoI had some major flaws at first (which kinda made Japan impossible to play since it could not be supplied properly for example...) but most are supposed to be fixed by now.
Performance had some major issues too especially since they put such an advance system for weather simulation it was hogging CPU like crazy (and yes, weather simulation has a point into a wargame, planes couldnt do crap by bad weather in WW2). These are also supposed to be fixed.

I believe the sales is for the upcoming Semper Fi expansion for HoI3 that is coming up in few months, they probably want more people having the game so they are tempted to buy the xpac.

I think I will pass on EU3 though, not enough time for such a time consuming game right now when I got so many other stacked

@kianweic: Majesty 2 is not bad, not a super duper good game but it can keep you entertained for a while.

Do you have In Nomine? I heard it's damn good. Tempted to get the EU3 bundle just because of that.
*
No, I don't own any of the EU3 stuff, from the last reviews I heard on EU3 (the Heir of the Throne reviews) the whole thing is now quite solid game, the AI is okey, still does some stupid stuff in military sometimes but you can't exactly ask it to play like a god either..

I am tempted too to be honest, since it's relatively cheap, just that I am not sure I would have the time to invest into it that much now.... could invest for later uses....
Decisions... decisions... guess I will sit on it a bit and decide before the end of the sales.

I got EU3 complete. Now I got the entire main library of Paradox stuff on Steam. Probably i'll wait for Victoria 2 to get a discount. Because Civ5 I gotta get that first day. HOI 3 expansion Semper Fi I'll wait.
*
Thing is Steam does not have all the paradox games, I had to go out of my way to get their Achtung Panzer - Kharkov 1943 from gamersgate (as Paradox said apparently Steam did not want to put it in, guess it's too niche for Steam).
It's kind of a remake of Close Combat if you ever played it. In full 3D with some good operational level strategy. It's far from mainstream strategy game but it's pretty good and gamersgate have some offer for it once in a while (I bought it at 50% about 2 weeks back). Made by a 4 man team of Ukraine, the dudes actually live near Kharkov so the maps are mostly the real looks and all.

I am still considering EU3 tongue.gif
