u probably have to change the server where you are downloading from. Change it to either MY or SG. The avg dl speed i get from steam is 170 kbps without any VPN.

hello, i got cod4 from steam and punkbuster keeps kicking me for "disallowed program driver" after a few minutes playing multiplayer

i read that the solution is to disable steam overlay
is there any other possible fix around this? players from steam, you guys experience this too?

Nope, I only experience this once when I when I log-off xfire and it was running in offline mode.

Thats the only solution,as the same problem occurred with BF2 too.

weird, playing in Aussie - I experience no spikes and my ping was around 100+.

Narakka and bolehvpn gives me spikes.

i think narakka and bvpn spikes coz of the server load...lol....

Ditto dude, even at 70 ping onwards I still experience spikes. I do noticed that spikes were more tolerable 12 a.m. onwards but spikes still there is.

Does that mean Aussie server are better and/or superior? If yes, then how and what is better and/or superior server like. I don't remember experiencing much spike issue with MBT CoD5 and/or the infamous Hong Kong FpS CoD5 server, so what's going on actually?
