If I may to chip in,

Lean is useful, once a player hid behind the soft drink vending machine in the map District I think – the map with market place in the middle, he was totally out of sight, only in killcam I knew where he was leaning. But it all depends on your playstyle, run and gun player may not use it often because they should be running around most if not all of the time ;p

Steady aim makes your hip fire shots more accurate – as mentioned above, doesn’t do anything about the recoil, zzirGrizz demonstrate the difference with or without Steady Aim accuracy using M40A3 in his G-Shot Tutorial, if that's your thing. Steady Aim benefits most to hip firing players, i.e. SMGers – as mentioned above, because IIRC Steady Aim doesn’t increase accuracy when aiming down the sight, and I don't ADS much in close quarter shootout.

I thought you can do it from the bundled software . . . but then again I don’t have a Razer product, yet ;p

I’m not a veteran per se but veteran teach me and I “learn” from them the fragging hard way, spectate, play, die, observe the killcam if any; Always very eager to return the favor though ;p

@ JuzJoe

Do you or have you play at MY BOLEHVPN?? If you do or already have, then maybe we can exchange shots in the future, else you should try it out.

I’m not using any config, just the seta cg_drawFPS “Simple” to see what’s my FPS like. Last Sunday when playing in MY BOLEHVPN I was lag spiking matrix and all, so I checked in bashandslash and try the “pb_sleep 500” and then “pb_writecfg” command, and so the lag spike matrix slowly disappear, or maybe my connection got better, don’t know which but the lag spike matrix and all seems not much of an issue liao.

OTOH I think we exchanged shots a couple time this morning in MY BOLEHVPN server, FerDeLance here ;p Good gameplay yourself as well ;p

Some excerpt from the link provided “http://www.guru3d.com/article/call-of-duty-world-at-war-vga-graphics-performance-test/1, November 10, 2008”, <excerpt>

<30 FPS = very limited gameplay
30 – 40 FPS = average yet very playable
40 – 60 FPS = good gameplay
> 60 FPS = best possible gameplay

When a graphics card is doing 60 FPS on average or higher then you can rest assured that the game will likely play extremely smooth at every point in the game, turn on every possible in-game IQ setting. </excerpt>

I don’t have xfire, oops sweat.gif, but I’ll add you after I get one!

Yours truly being a bloodlusted, trigger happy, menacing, son of a gun by nature also got fragged often for being overly offensive in CoD4, however I think and felt that’s not the case when I’m playing CoD5 because I don’t remember getting irritated much by camper(s) in CoD5.

@ Cheesenium

Let’s rendezvous MY BOLEHVPN then! Go! Go! Go!

I'd say so. Anyway my CoD4 from software boutique came pre-installed with patch 1.7 which I found to be really convenient. Otherwise it's one patch after another until you reach patch 1.7, good luck commrade.

@ JuzJoe

MyBolehVPN = HC server indeed. CoD5 availability is pretty darn low in this region, almost all the active server are within the 400 and above ping range, which is virtually unplayable for player originate from our region, so very the sad. HK and Australia servers are the playable ones, FpS server (HK), games.on.net #2, #3, etc.

I get that as well, states 50 ping but gameplay felt as if I have 300 ping. Last time I played there, map = Killhouse, I froze, then sped up, froze, sped up, die, rinse, repeat.

Ditto dude, even at 70 ping onwards I still experience spikes. I do noticed that spikes were more tolerable 12 a.m. onwards but spikes still there is.

@ rotisejuk

Does that mean Aussie server are better and/or superior? If yes, then how and what is better and/or superior server like. I don't remember experiencing much spike issue with MBT CoD5 and/or the infamous Hong Kong FpS CoD5 server, so what's going on actually?

Is it \cl_packetdump 5 ?? Also from what I read at bashandslash, pb_sleep 500 is then followed by pb_writecfg to sort of commit the pb_sleep 500, am I right? I'm already using three except the first command. Hopefully fourth one's the charm ;p

Tried no scope, in those “bolt only plz” game. Seems to work rather unreliably, maybe it’s due to the operator, i.e. yours truly. I don’t encounter no scope technique with player wielding scoped bolt action all this while in CoD4, however there’s a number of “quick iron sight” players in CoD5 though ;p

I'd say Deep Impact is better for automatic weapon because of its spraying capability, but DI definitely will be useful if you need to shoot a target behind an obstacle, e.g. plywood wall at Vacant.

I think the bolt action rifle recoil will only be an issue if you're scoping with normal scope, holding breath and want to shoot in quick succession.

Check this out "http://denkirson.xanga.com/632800688/call-of-duty-4/#pen" for some info on DI. I guess maps like Pipeline, Shipment, Vacant, etc, is where DI can be useful.
