how fast is the speed of 4mbps package? just wanna compare with 1mbps pckage.

Problem is I applied for new phone line. THe fella didn't give me a phone number, or is it stated on the surat akuan? =.=

its stated on the surat akuan ;D . U din choose the last 3 digit for the home line ? I got a pretty sweet number though
got strangers from previous owner contact is constantly making call wrong number dang
If u just got your homeline install u at least need to wait about 2 days for the order to appear.
They need to install the jumper blabla open port yadayada i duno what that means . The most likely answer
you will get when u call em wait 3 - 7 workin days

Guys, do you guys include water bill/electricity bill as for the required documents?

hey guys would it be okay to use 15 meter phone cable to the adsl?
would it effect the snr margin and line attenuation dramatically?

guys, please advice and give some feedback on my situation.

here goes:
March - applied for cooluni pack from agent that came to my uni in KL to promote. was advised to fix new homeline instead of changing from my dad's line.
end of March - homeline installed in my house in hometown, few days later a lady called to check, and said streamyx will be installed soon.
2nd week of April - no news from streamyx, checked with 100 and online status, it says no order found. went to TMPoint to ask about the problem. They told me agent didn't put in the order, was asked to wait a week while they email HQ and the agent. after 1 week, went back, and they told me that the agent was not authorized to apply for cooluni pack. i asked for a new application and cancel the other, they told me can't coz my IC is alraedy in the system, it's blocked and blah blah blah...so fine, i just filled in my details again, and they said they would deal with it.
Today - Contractor came to my house to activate streamyx, found out that my login id had spelling errors, and also found out that my application came from PJ (KL), instead of Ipoh. Besides that, the package given wasn't what i appiled for, i got 1mb only instead of 4mb.

today will be my 4th visit to tmpoint, can anyone advice on what to do?

i couldn't be more pissed at TM after the series of events before this, and now they give me this crap! 

haha, 4th time only wad, my friend went more than 5 times already, because of slackness in TM, but in the end, he got it, thus it worth the visits hahaa

thought they will cut my line today morning, until now still havent cut yet...
the faster it cut, the faster unipack can arrive for me.....
argh!

You'll only see after your phone line is activated and when they transfer in the order. Generally takes 2-5 days after phone line is activated

I am not sure why a lot of folks such as yourself are impatient

Just wait , give them 7 days time. Once their time is over then feel free to exercise your rights. Trust me thats how it works

Currently I am waiting for my application be processed. Its just a simple 4Mbps Streamyx Combo to 4Mbps Streamyx UniPack upgrade and yet my application is still being processed. I am not sure how long it takes for them to process my application , but never the less. I'll still wait (maximum of a week)

Out of curiosity, after I did my application, how long will it take for the wiring guy (whatever you call him) to come to my house to install new wires?

Incidentally i have an existing phone line, but I registered a new one as the old one was under my mom's name. Do they need to do extra wiring? Or can i ask them to use the existing wiring as I'm gonna terminate the old line as soon as the new streamyx is up.

Nope. Don't have. Cause they called my dad, then he called back to tell them I'm at home.
