sorry for not including details .. huhu

currently stable at :
CPU - 240x10 = 2.4Ghz @ stock vcore
Ram - 200Mhz @ 2.5-3-3-7 @ CPU/12 divider at 2.6V (Stock volt)
Prime95 9 hours = pass.
Memtest (run from boot disk) 1 hour+ = pass
3dmark 03 n 05 - no problems

unstable / failed prime95 :
CPU - 245x10 = 2.45Ghz @ stock vcore
Ram - 204Mhz @ 2.5-3-3-7 n 3-3-3-8 @ both 2.6v n 2.7
Memtest 1 hour+ - Passed
Prime95 - Failed after 15 minutes.

i tried all those settings above for the ram. so wondering if its cos the vcore isnt enuf.. or ram timings.. ? seems like anything above 200Mhz for the rams will fail prime95 eventually. only diff is how long it can run without errors.

any suggestions? OC newbie here notworthy.gif

Up VDIMM to 2.8v and up VCORE by 10%, see how it goes

now;

3200+ @ 2.5Ghz
bt-d43 @ 208Mhz @ 3-3-3-8
vcore @ 1.45
vdimm is at 2.7V

how much is the lowest timings i can put on the bt-d43's? wanna test if my cpu can go higher at looser timings.

at 2.5Ghz, Passes superpi n gonna run prime95 till tomoro morning.

EDIT: just found out my Vdimm value biggrin.gif

tras of 10 makes no difference to me. guess it's limit for my pair of hynix... guess my old corsair is better @ 245 2.5-4-4-8 (relabel chip though) hahaha

anyway.. i've plenty of sealed new ctp-d43 around hehhe

You can try 3-4-4-x and see how high your d43 can fly.

Nice for a start. Where did u bought it ? Tight timings i should say and its normal for a DT's series of D43.

my spec is AMD semp 64 2500+
asus k8n

my ram using 1 x512 BT d43 + 1 x 512 CTP d43 single side ,
both is kingston .

i found tat my CTP cant clock more than 217 at 3-3-3-8 1T 2.7~2.8 and 225 at 3-3-3-8 2T. even i set to 3-4-4-10 also useless.

i must put my BT d43 and dimm1 . else the system cant boot in windows.

i feel weird tat if i using default clock and timing , it also unstable . when loading , if will restart. so the only stable state for my ctp only is 217@3-3-3-8@1T@2.7V..... rclxub.gif must clock if not unstable.... doh.gif

my BT only can reach 245@3-3-3-8@1T@2.8V , how to let it go higher FSB ? tongue.gif
*both ram also cant do CL 2.5.. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

anyone have idea to let the ram go higher clock ? the lossen timing for the d43 ? thx laugh.gif

but if i put ctp only , my pc can boot but when run any program will restart.
no matter wat i do also give me same result. even i dun clock it also same.
i think the only way is sell the ram.

any ram suitable for me?
can do 230@tight time , or can do very high clock.
but my budget <RM350 ..
any value ram intro ?
and the samsung tccc , or kingston hyper x , which 1 better ?

there was alot performance RAMs out there that suit for u.
its not the matter of brand but more to type of chippy they used for the RAMs.. samsung chipset r superb when u want it running on lower voltage at higher HTT/ FSB.
