QUOTE(x800 @ Dec 29 2005, 09:53 PM)
hurm..i have a question ere bout heat from these KVRs.i just added 2 more modules, so now im running 4xBT-D43s modules (256MB each) at 2.85V..the question is,do i need heatspreaders?i've touched the rams after i shut my pc down, and it feels kinda warm..currently i only have a 12cm fan at my side panel blowing to the modules n cpu..
r u running them at stock speed?.. warm?.. i think u dun need that.. i believe someone can't touch their ram even for less than 1 seconds.. laugh.gif

hey guyz.. just got my KVR DT-D43's.. haha.. laugh.gif feelin very happy.. but i have a problem though.. if i put my fsb to 240, it won't load windows, but when i lower my fsb to 239, everything starts normally.. blink.gif
maybe its the limit already for that timing 3-3-3-8(frm ur sig).. huh.gif
loose the timing to 3-4-4-8 to see how high the fsb ur ram capable to do..

QUOTE(e-jump @ Jan 7 2006, 02:14 AM)
the only u cant change thru a64 tweaker is CAS latency n command rate T
basically A64 optiobs r similar to the options in DFi memory options
juz it work like clockgen, where u test in window, n if its ok, than u apply in bios..
well, u can straight away set in bios, its about the same..
but the advantage of this tweaker is for those other mobo that dont have bios options like dfi wink.gif
QUOTE(KilJim @ Jan 7 2006, 03:08 AM)
if u have those settings in your bios, use that instead of Tweaker
sometimes even if your rams can take the setting it hangs up when u change via Tweaker
same goes for all other OCing software la actually
rite got the point.. thanx guyz.. i guess there is another a64 tweaker pros.. to share ur dram setting easier.. tongue.gif

i believe the ram itself hit the wall already if u've tried to loose the timing to 3-4-4-8 and increase Vdimm to 2.9 b4 and still cannot..

-vip3rleon9-

i tried adi just now..

240mhz @ 2.8vdimm @ 1T @ 3-4-4-8
245mhz @ 2.8vdimm @ 1T @ 3-4-4-8
250mhz @ 2.8vdimm @ 1T @ 3-4-4-8

all also cannot.. can reach the Windows boot screen, where the horizontal bar moves across the screen.. it will just keep moving and moving n not load into Windows.. blink.gif blink.gif
