probably it would save up on battery life? but don't think it will be significant though. think most of the heat are from the GT335M. why don't you give it a try and let us know the result?

my M11x is more like my desktop these days. only carried it around once since purchase. biggrin.gif

p/s: you used a stopwatch for that? laugh.gif

Currently using alien brain stop watch. tongue.gif i will use stop watch to measure it, as for battery life.

I never have a full test with OC on yet, m11x never fail me on battery life. I never have a time that the battery is
lower then 30%.

Btw did you try the A03 BIOS update?

do post the result here. tested the other day with WiFi, integrated graphics and 50% screen brightness, it managed to last me for almost 6.5 hours. and that's on OC. prolly 7 hours if non-OC? biggrin.gif

nope. sticking to A01. the 'constant-spinning' fan issue didn't really bother me anyway. plus, with various issues reported on NBR, i shall wait. are you on A03? smile.gif

I hear they say A03 did not fix the FN+f2 function, even its stated doh.gif

So no point to update with the Jet plane fan speed.

I will run a test with same setting with non-oc. If i have a chance to use 7 hour m11x with battery. biggrin.gif
