I am going for CAT-ACCA which PTPTN does recognize and hence unable to take loan from them

the bank negara scholarship is it something like JPA?

It is another much sought scholarship much like JPA, ASEAN, PETRONAS, SHELL and so on

Mostly they will pay for all your Uni fees and give you adequate amount of money to spend buying books and cover your living cost depending in which country you go to if overseas.I see my friend Bank Negara scholar doing CAL in Taylor's got a lot of money compared to JPA and MARA scholars XD

As far as I know, the Petronas scholarship is not open yet, but will be anytime soon (since SPM results are out).

Those are considered good results and will qualify her for almost any scholarship - the rest depends on the interview and/or extra curricular performance.


I've encountered people with 5As and still getting the JPA scholarship - though I do think that was an isolated case. For 8A,s it's neither stellar nor poor - so I think it really comes down to how you are going to wow them, wither with exceptional co-curricular track record or during the interview.

I have encountered a couple of Japanese scholarships right here:
Monbukagakusho (undergrad)

The rest are for postgraduate only, if you are still interested:

I have no concrete links to Korean scholarships at the moment but you could always give this website a shot
Study in Korea

You might wanna consider other countries such as Taiwan or India as well.
