if u wan half-press then attach wire lor
if wireless no half-press

y SB600 cant be triggered wirelessly? SB600 can be slave, jz dun have commander

lolz, if like that nobody want SB600 lor sweat.gif

now even Di622 with latest firmware can be radio triggered, that is, using radio waves from body built-in commander, or SB900 or SU800

specs list:
Di622 - optical n radio trigger
SB600 - radio trigger only
SB900 - optical n radio trigger
(optical trigger means triggered by pop up flash)

YO.... luckily.... lol, if not I regret buying my nissin laa.... I think mine is with latest firmware, the seller told me with Nissin word on the flash stand is new version can trigger wireless =) Juz D5k body cant trigger the flash, u don use wireless triggering flash?

i do utilise SB900's optical trigger function, used it sumtimes

Optical trigger cant do some effects rite, coz ur body flash is lighting the subject up directly, unlike placing the flash on 1 side, n taking the subject at another side

aiseh, better get sb900 as it has more function compare to sb600. blush.gif

u can set your pop flash power manually, set it the lowest power, 1/32 i thk
then the light frm pop up flash not so harsh

hv to get General_Nic to reply on this as i dont own any 50 & i nvr did tried sigma 50 before... notworthy.gif
however, i did tried d nikkor 50 f/1.4g at NCKL & all i can say its sharper than my 35 f1.8 . blush.gif

Usually lens with bigger thread has bigger internals which results to more light. Example, lens A has big internals, lens B has smaller internals. When shooting at same settings, f/2.8 1/60s for both, lens A image would be brighter.
