Sorry if this is an old question, I just got my byond installed today. But apparently there's nothing on the screen if i switch to HDMI, so they have to use the lame RCA to connect rclxub.gif

Any idea what is wrong? I'm using byond on a S10 Panasonic Plasma. Firmware is 1.2s

Try using another HDMI cable if you have. Also try with any Component cables if you have.

With HDMI cable, works perfectly on my monitor..

Not necessarily expensive hdmi cable will do wonders. Even the cable provided by Astro is perfect enough w v 1.3b HDMI.

I guess Kianwee's problem is not due to cable, could be decoder itself or his tele?

Try to check the system information in the byond box & see the HDMI status is on or off. If off, you have to call ASTRO and tell them to switch it on.

I dont know why, after I install astro b.yond, the rain fade problem is still there. There was never any changes from the old SD decoder. Heavy down pour or just abit rain, my signal will go off.

Why ?
