I noticed sometimes HD channel program are video/audio not in sync. Espacially on live event like NHL on ASSPHD. There's delay between video/audio. But for other, seems fine to me.

is it true?not notice that..

i also noticed ESPN HD audio lag by few ms.. using stereo mode (tv speaker out).. goal liao only shout :S

I noticed this problem as well, if I'm not wrong, it seem like it happened for all channels, with HD channels slightly more.
Could this the problem relate to the unusually low sound level ?!

just got my byond last saturday and the quality was awesome, enjoyed the Cite vs MU match.....

but i have a problem with picture quality for non hd channels especially for espn and star sports, i feel like this 2 sports channel become a bit blur especially when watching live EPL matches and also during the F1 race. the quality is same (blur) even when i switch from HDMI to AV.

Anyone knows how to view the next program like we use to have on old decoder. Press info pop we got it.

But on Beyond remote its hard to see next show, although its listed down when the channel switch, not when you're watching.

Anyone could guide me the right way to view upcoming shows?

I have a few questions:

1. with byond, can I connect to 2 TVs? Both of them display same channel.
2. can new byond card been used at old decoder?
3. is the old card will be deactivated if i subscribe to byond? ..

I am dilemma either to or not subscribe HD. It is because I setup 2 TV with 1 astro. That is the main concern. . any1 can confirm this?

I think yes, but the best way is use new decoder as B.yond decoder have HD channel.

3 simultaneous video out are available, HDMI(max resolution 1080i), component video(576i), composite video (576i), to connect multiple HDTV via HDMI, buy powered HDMI splitter


byond card use on old decoder, I think can only get sound, no picture

old card must be surrendered to the installer

Nothing wrong with ur ESPN or Star Sports
Its just that u have seen the quality of HD when watching EPL or F1
N when u see it in normal channel u will experience normal quality
Thats the meaning of Astro Byond..Experience like never before
So dont worry bout ur normal channel 'blur'

I especially notice it in Champions League games
EPL doesnt have the problem though..

Hmmm...maybe!

1) yes, you can, many methods to connect. Wireless or wired (if you use RF connecting both TV now, you will need to add a modulator as Byond has no RT port)
2 & 3) its not a question anymore as you will need to return the old card.

when you guys order B.Yond - does it come with ESPN automatically?

cos i don't have sports package yet, so instead of ordering sports package, i thought maybe just order B.Yond.
