these setup can receive 78.5°E Thaicom 5 satellite ku band thailand true vision channels, very similar to astro outfit they also broadcast world cup matches, however the dm500s set top box can not decode HD signal

true vision subscription price is very expensive, based on the sales price posted in lyn, it looks like a non-legit job

btw... the menu navigation... i prefer if we can see the info and see the other channel info without changing the channel...
i remember the normal astro remote... when u press info... then key in the channel number... only the info will change to the specified channel but not the channel we are viewing...
press "TV" on the remote brows.gif you can view other channel's info using navigation key, however current channel screen become reduced on upper right corner, after you have done viewing info, press big blue byond button

currently these channels are free to view, later on will be slotted into various packages

Celestial Movies is part of the New Emperor package - RM 21.95
or pay RM15 to get the Celestial Movies channel alone

I prefer to setup media player, movies are non-censored, subtitle can be switchable, HD, moviee can be paused to take a leak brows.gif

Hi guys, I called Astro yesterday to apply for Byond. They tell me that it will take 10 days for installation. Is this believable? I am in Johor. Prior to this, I applied through one of the "dealers" in my town but nothing materialized after 5 weeks.rclxub.gif I really hope to get it installed before the World Cup. Thanks!!

LOL call astro hotline

3 mini package would cost you RM54.95, and you must pay RM10 for downgrading

refer here for package pricing http://www.astro.com.my/getastro/packages/..._lineup.asp?x=d

rough calculation:

first byond with 3 mini-package downgraded= RM54.95(3-mini package) + RM10(downgrading) + RM20(HD)
second byond with half price discount(still available?)= RM27.48(50% discount) + RM20(HD)
