Hi all, was searching for info related to SS and seems this is the one with most info.

A few qns to the experts here:
1. A 3room (about 1300 sqf) for about rm700k is it too pricey?
2. Will arm be rentable as well?

Added on July 22, 2011, 10:56 amSorry,

Is the SOHo status confirmed? And how is it different from buying a non-soho residential unit?
Anyone letting go of 1,2 bedder units in SS now? PM me please.
Thanks

Added on July 22, 2011, 10:58 amAnd what's the take up rate of the project now? In particular the shopping centre units.
Will it take long to travel there from the KLIA or KLCC?

Thanks guys.

700k is pricey. but you got the cyberjaya name...

SOHO means can the unit easily can convert become office legally....but not a big issue here..

far from klcc, CAR is a must. cyberjaya dont rely on klcc. it is independence..just like silicon valley and wall street...

If there is 1 place that ought to stand solid, it has got to be SS. Watching this place closely as the leading indicator of cyberjaya residential market..

This SS will not the centre of CBJ. CBJ City Centre will be somewhere nearer to LKW. Btw, leading indicator will be the D'Pulze if they can get the cinema come in, with Best Western Hotel n a supermarket in. This will be the solid foundation.

Not that well acquainted with cb cos everytime i drive there, i will auto end up at persiaran multimedia (PM) biggrin.gif Why do u say that lkw is the ctr of cb ? It looks to b sitting right beside the putrajaya boundary. If a college is to drive developments here, i would put my bet nearer to PM cos the combined number of students here are higher.. Yah, the area between d'pulze & PM/Persiaran Apec crossjunction ought to be the upcoming golden mile of cb. The class of projects here looks a notch higher,

LOL, D'Pulze not only sounds like a message place the construction progress seems pitiful, though they do have quite a good campaign with the Ascott signing, the cinema and supermarket.. only time will tell

i tot the other way round. i am very sure the supply is insufficient now based on numerous studies conducted. There's why many developers came in last years.

You're right. lkw can't be the center of cbj, it's located too far away from commercial center. my definition of commercial center of cbj would be where the dhl is.

IBM to invest RM1 bln over next 5 yrs in Cyberjaya
Written by Sharon Tan of theedgemalaysia.com
Thursday, 10 November 2011 17:15

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 10): IBM will be investing RM1 billion over the next five years to develop a new Global Delivery Centre in Cyberjaya, said Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

The Prime Minister said on Thursday the centre is expected to create 3,000 skilled jobs.

He also said Toshiba has selected Malaysia as its global supply chain hub, regional full turnkey and R&D centre for its transmission and distribution equipment to Southeast Asia market.

Toshiba is expected to invest RM268 million and this would contribute RM304.8 million in gross national income, creating 668 jobs by 2017.

Najib announced the investments at the ninth Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) progress.

The Prime Minister announced 13 projects, nine new and four recapped, with a total investment value of RM5.85 billion, projected GNI of RM6.68 billion and creating an estimated 16,902 jobs.

"With these new projects, the ETP has recorded RM177.1 billion in committed investment, RM237.23 billion in projected GNI and 389,263 potential new jobs," said Najib.

Other projects that were announced was a collaboration between Telekom Malaysia and Akamai Technologies in building Akamai's only Netstorage facilities in Asia Pacific (excluding Japan). Netstorage is a secure, outsourced service that reduces costs and hassle associated with content storage.
