LoL, almost everybody who comes in wants to compare with iPhone. Gosh! Jatuh standard only. There're so many phones that is "already" better than iPhone and selling much much more cheaper than iPhone.

iPhone is very outdated, and way way overpriced.

The only thing that iPhone has is the "popularity", that's the only thing that iPhone is best at and win others.

Perhaps many people just started to notice iPhone? Not long ago, my friend's brother notice another friend's iPhone and suddenly he shouted "OMG! iPhone!" LoL, I thought what happen! It seemed like, sorry to say, someone come out from jungle and saw a moving box (Car) and got excited.
When iPhone first launch, and people react this way, I can still understand and accept, but at current smartphone era, it's so outdated and nothing unique/special anymore. There're so many interesting, more powerful and better smartphones.

P/S: iPhone only have single speaker, darn the MONO ringtones ringing, it's annoying and sound like sheet.

tats what i feel iphone overated..ppl tend to go for trend and not practical stuff..plus, iphone is so GODDAMN EXPENSIVE! oh well, is for rich bastar* who wanna show off anyway XD..
ppl refuse accept technical specs = better get Nokia 3310 XD
still, dif ppl dif point of view, i love something practical and worth my money

Thats why in the world there are low class people,middle class and high class people to make economy balance. Do you think everyone so rich to buy iphone furthermore more better models comes out people start to realize iphone is overrated di. Imagine if everyone poor then iphone market will die

to be honest i dont compare n900 with iphone i mean totally no brainer la .. no offence tho. LOL.

I really wonder why NOBODY compare this with Android phone?
The real competitor for NOKIA in Smartphone market is Android + HTC(hardware manufacturer).

See how many phones beside HTC have acquired Android OS into their phone...Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, LG....
App/Games for Android is growing more and more.....
So the biggest thread is ANDROID...not freaking IPHONE....
and also WinMobile(which come out with high spec HD2 but declare Win7 mobile cant run on it, so would you buy an OS which Obsolete?).....

PS: I really never ever think of getting an IPHONE, if you wanna try their app/games, get an IPOD touch. But getting an IPOD touch why don't I go for PSP or even PS3??

Dont you see the comparison isnt fair. Android have a 3 years head count and Maemo do not have. Give it sometime and u will be surprise for availability softwares. Furthermore Nokia already announce in future nokia applications will be compatible among Maemo , Meego and future OS starting from Nokia N900

but then, juz to know more more b4 i decide to get which one 1st only.... with open minded. and that day went to lowyat plaza tested, i like n900 coz the browsing experience!... SMOOTH!

hmm.... lets hope that more and more user friendly add on to this mobile, so by end of this month, i will own one

Same to me there already alot ppl saying Meego will be available for nokia n900 and certain ppl even able to boot N900 with android. So i dont see whats the problem here.

To me i can do online banking, cinema booking, web browsing, access VPN etc etc wit my n900 so i got no regrets having this phone

Many experts were saying that it would reduce the processor's lifespan.

Personally, I think it depend on usage. If you OC up to 900Mhz, and you use constant 100% usage for long period, VS 100% usage for long period on 600Mhz. Surely the 900Mhz will do damage.
But if it's normal processing, I think 900Mhz actually helps instead of doing damage?
Imagine one process which requires 10 seconds to process and using constant 100% of 600Mhz
When OC to 900Mhz, the same process only requires 3 seconds to process at constant 100%.

I'm not expert, just guessing. But unless we can have runtime control of the clock speed like in PSP CFW, we can adjust the clock speed during runtime, then it'll be the best~
I think most people OC their PSP to 333Mhz and play long hours game over wifi too.

eventhough i OC it, dun think i'll use until so crazy like the youtube. Just normal usage ..haha..just wait and see in long term how it goes by

in the PSP's case,333mhz isnt overclocking the device-it's the device's original clock speed.
Sony lowered it to save battery life.

current gen PSPs(slim 2000 and bright 3000) are all at 333mhz
