QUOTE(jawwebber @ Mar 30 2010, 04:39 AM) well as i said bro, it really depends on who the ap distributors are. i cant vouch for any good ap distributors but i guess i am lucky as my neighbour is the distributor. i have 1 single problem with a much older phone with its slider and he gladly replaced a new units for me within 2 days. its very open for discussion the whole ap handset thing =/ but the general rule for me is if its like 100-200 bucks difference then i go for zitron but in this case rm480 difference (i bought mine for RM1800) its a huge difference u see wow ur n900 so cheap really good deal. Anyway I can get one as well?

QUOTE(fakerdemit @ Mar 29 2010, 02:45 AM) yeah. currently n900 doesn't support USSD function. but you still can use this widget. http://maemo.org/packages/package_instance...widget/0.1.7-0/i tested it and yeah, it works with my hotlink simcard. but if you unsure to install the widget. fear no more. the PR1.2 has its update on it. The update is soon. I think. //PS:If you noticed. The update is in extras-testing. Not extras-devil. So it's 98% perfectly safe.// hey fakerdemit... i visited the link u gave by using my n900 after download from the file on that link itself... my n900 unable to install it... am i wrong in the procedure ?

Added on March 30, 2010, 3:05 pmQUOTE(fakerdemit @ Mar 30 2010, 12:14 AM) GPS uses the Global Positioning Satellites to fix your devices location. A-GPS uses your network operators transmission towers to Assist the satellite signals to fix your devices location.A-GPS is coarse grained typically 100s of meters vs GPS sub Meter. n900 use both. But if you use GPS, and you have the map information (get from OVI MAPS), you don't need to use the a-GPS and don't need to burn you data plan. the voice command for navigation is still not support for Malaysia maps. and navigation uses your data plan. in conclusion. after finish downloading ovi maps. i can access GPS without any internet connection la. thx 1 more thing, i dont get this "A-GPS is coarse grained typically 100s of meters vs GPS sub Meter." QUOTE Maemo is mostly based on open source code, and has been developed by Maemo Devices within Nokia in collaboration with many open source projects such as the Linux kernel, Debian, and GNOME. Maemo is based on Debian GNU/Linux and draws much of its GUI, frameworks, and libraries from the GNOME project. It uses the Matchbox window manager, and the GTK-based Hildon as its GUI and application framework. BTW, anyone installed media player widget for the desktop ? HAHA. try getting a misscall or a phone call. Shortly after that, your media player will play by itself. Really cool bug

Does it always happen when you receive miss call? Possibly somethings are causing it, I never go and read the details, just know there's such bug.
