i can get constant 195KBps starting from 12am-8am everyday @1mbps connection. 8am-11pm, my speed reduced to 70KBps. before this, i can get that speed for whole day
*
that means congestion's in your area. nothing much you can do about it ... getting 195KB/s for 1mbps is good ler ur getting 90% more then your advertised speed.

For people comparing SG to MY, a lot of people in SG 'kantoi' download pirates and sued. Never heard it happen yet in MY.

They are monitoring your connection in SG. Well, there's always alternatives .. tongue.gif

Hongkong broadband only charge $99(RM50)for 100M!

Why TM charge us RM149 for only 5M?

Boycott UniFi for expensive monthly charge!

Everything is overpriced in MY especially in town areas. I had teh tarik which costed me RM2 from a simple and small restaurant.

Boycott? There is no limit for stupidity, especially in Malaysia, someone will still sign it up.. especially after all the advertising and sales tactic..

What concern me is not the Charges.. charges will eventually go down but the thing that's annoy me is the 'would-be' cap.

Wow, this thread has grown so fast I had no time to catch up on it.

Anyways, if this has not been mentioned yet, TM's twitter page is a good source for their latest announcements.

It's a bit of both, don't you think?

The charges wouldn't be so bad if the cap was much higher. The cap wouldn't be so bad if the charges were much lower biggrin.gif

Not gonna make a difference. Even the fact their a monopoly they know but they don't care. They will cap anyway. Less international bandwidth you use, the less they pay for it thus more profit margin hmm.gif
