Just received my Vostro 3400 today morning
Core i5-430M 4GB RAM 320GB Harddisk NVIDIA GT310M 14" LCD Silver Win7 Pro 64-bit Original price: RM2840 My invoice: RM2720 (after a promotion discount of RM120 for any order over RM2600) After using it for a few hours, I can feel that the palm/touchpad area is really warm. Aside from this, so far I am quite satisfied with it One thing about the silver colour, it looks a bit brownish. At first glance, I can't really tell whether it is silver or brown. After I have compared my unit with all 3 colours in the picture on this page: http://www.engadget.com/photos/vostro-3000...nds-on/#2781459, mine looks more like brown than silver, especially in low light condition. Did they shipped a Brass colour unit to me instead??? Anyway, it is ok for me. Another thing is about the wireless adapter. Dell's website stated that they give 'Wireless Network Card 802.11g for Malaysia only'. But what I got is Dell 1520 Wireless-N Card. I guess they did not update their website to reflect the correct wireless card. Ok, time to repartition the harddisk and install all the software that I use. A busy evening... A busy evening... u repartition it? so did u repartition the main drive? if u did that, like kind of wasted for the security software. This post has been edited by alex890628: Apr 28 2010, 06:47 PM |
