nope. FN+F2 = only shows the battery status. to disable / enable charger, u hav2 go to the dell battery meter in power options. Or u can access it try right clicking on the battery meter at the taskbar. vostro can auto shut off charging once it's fully charged

Okay..now I managed to cancel my Studio15..but there's a problem..

Currently Dell is offering a 3 Year Next Business Day On Site Service at RM229

But when I wanna upgrade my warranty, it states
"3 Yrs Next Business Day Onsite Service [add RM 299.00]
Add RM299 and Upgrade to 3-Years Limited Warranty (Next Business Day On-Site* Service)"

Any idea what's going on? Too bad its already 7pm and their customer service is closed..

well... maybe if you can wait till tomorrow then. maybe it's because their website haven't updated yet?

Ok guys, i got this error after updating the video card driver. But yesterday i formatted it, and after used it for hours the colourful dots returns again. Any idea and anyone got the same problem?

mm that looks bad. all the while it was ok? or it only happened after u did something? find it strange happening to a new system

i did update the nvidia driver too last week, and my system is fine. try to connect to external monitor and see whether its the driver fault , or the screen itself. have you contacted dell?

Havent, i plan to get few testing myself. See whether its my configuration fault or hardware fault...

Woah, thats quite bad. Since you've reformatted/reinstalled the concerning drivers I suggest you contact the Dell Customer support. I updated my Video card a few weeks back and thankfully it didn't end up like this. :|

try running the hardware test from the diagnostic disk....or you can do it by pressing fn +esc right after reboot

I also found out that we can purchase CompleteCover for 3 years for only RM117!!! But not via online..have to go through Sales Assistant..

so cheap? i don think so..complete cover is more expensive than business support
