QUOTE(lawtm @ Apr 3 2010, 08:11 PM) so what . my laptop asus m50vc also 3k also . take care so much to laptop for wat . when 2-3 year also broken also Actually i didnt really take care of it as you only have to do it one time then enough already. And for the caring purpose, you may want to sell it again next time lol. It's pointless to keep many laptops :-S And congratz of moving in to notebook spec discussion!! W00t! Yeah, finally moved the thread. Thanks a bunch to the mod involved!
2-3 years of laptop life span is alright I guess. Within that span of time you'd have enough for a new one. Its always good to take good care of your things to appreciate its value. All the more reason if you have intentions of selling it off, let it be in good condition! This post has been edited by SPuNx: Apr 4 2010, 03:01 AM |

QUOTE(sil3ntlif3 @ Apr 4 2010, 11:00 PM) Woa... Moved already not really,it depend on the person and the type of bagpack that you use, i bought a everki beacon too...it feels okay, not that difficult to move around. it does make you like ninja turtle(carring a shell on the back) kinda cool Anyway does moving around with this like from house to workplace/school very inconvenience. by the way my vostro 3700 kinda have this high pitch hissing sound.not really obvious but its there...does anyone share the same thing? |

High pitch hissing sound? Do you have any idea what part of the lappy might cause that sound? Is it your CD drive?
Added on April 5, 2010, 1:02 pmBtw! Congratz on your Beacon purchase! This post has been edited by SPuNx: Apr 5 2010, 01:02 PM |

Congratz on your Beacon purchase! pretty satisfied with the gaming graphics( for me) run modern warfare2 at 60 fps with 2x anti aliasing. reading documents are very pleasing.... fingerprint sensor works great...easy to detect without hassle one thing im not sure is configuring the shock resistance hdisk....when checked at device manager, it doesnt mention anti-shock or something...go to control panel, check on sensors also says no sensor detected on system... |

Yeah! Congrats to those how've just gotten their Vostro 3700! I can't seem to upload any thumbnail pictures for the thread at the moment due to the upload issue in LYN. As for the FreeFall Data Protection, you can locate it under your 'All Control Panel Items' But it only allows you to either enable or disable it.

Well nope, unless I stick in a CD in the DVD Drive. You say the source comes from the right part of your laptop right?

If compared with my previous hp pavilion one fingerprint, i rate 80% for dell vostro 3700. the pavilion series one fingerprint is damn sensitive and accurate pretty satisfied with the gaming graphics( for me) run modern warfare2 at 60 fps with 2x anti aliasing. reading documents are very pleasing.... fingerprint sensor works great...easy to detect without hassle one thing im not sure is configuring the shock resistance hdisk....when checked at device manager, it doesnt mention anti-shock or something...go to control panel, check on sensors also says no sensor detected on system... and about the high pitch one sound, i noticed that too but not that obvious. it occurs only when u watching / listening to a movie/song in a max volume |

Yup! Definitely get headphones/external speaker for your laptop for better sound experience. The Vostro 3700 speaker isn't really that good for me. Planning to get one of those external sound cards for a better sound source! For now just using my comfy headphones, the bass setting is kinda funny for Vostro too.

hi guys,
in power option , the is this thing called dell battery meter where you can disable battery charging...kinda cool but it would be better if we can automate this, create a start uo script or somethin/ shortcut to launch... anybody know how? |
