im thinking of getting the lenovo Y460 but what i dont like about lenovo laptops is the fn key and ctrl key are swapped from the norm. im always using shortcut keys, so, i was wondering if this new key position would be easy to get used to..?

Really depends on you though, i use BenQ S42 (and yes, then Fn & Ctrl are switched) for almost 2.5 years now, even playing games now i can differentiate the position nod.gif...you just need to adjust yourself with it tongue.gif..and btw, at first it would be annoying laugh.gif

Which "Value" ones are recommended for using photoshop?

Or is it "Multimedia" or "CULV" better than "Value" when photoshoping?

Thanks. smile.gif

well, for Photoshop, if budget permits, i really suggest the Multimedia ones...

the Value and CULV ones have weak CPU which are not well suited for ur work...

+1 on astria suggestion, better you go for the Multimedia ones if budget permits nod.gif...CULV is just way slow for processing files/data such as Photoshop (though can still do the job well)...if got to stay within budget then 'Value' line can also do the job well nod.gif

really depends on wat u re looking for...

Asus N82Jv
- USB 3.0
- NV writes good driver, thus better performance in games, but GT 335M supports DX10.1 only
- 2yrs int'l warranty from Asus

Sony Vaio EA16
- HD5650 supports DX11, but ATi's driver is not as good
- it's a Vaio laugh.gif

anyway, if not for the brand, u can consider Lenovo Y460 also...

Dx11 increase your visual but decrease your performance (still, it based on optimization of game's engine)
