Guys, I just got back last week. BSG is not opened yet. But I could see that they were testing the rides. Confirmed with my cousin who has a friend working there, that the staff (not sure volunteered or not) was riding and testing the BSG last week. Could be open anytime soon, eh? Oh and the friend even mentioned that the Transformers ride are under construction, and should be open sometime after second half of the year.

Those who are willing to wait, then pergi akhir tahun saja.

No cheaper tickets la, well not that I know off for us here, but my cousin has this pamphlet that entitles her to 20% discount for her tickets. But have to go there and buy, if you have friends there who are willing to go and buy, then you get to save some money. I got mine thru online.

Ohh, I went on most rides, as we had the express passes, but it was raining the whole day, so a big mess we end up. Forget shoes, wear comfortable sandals instead!!

Added on February 2, 2011, 6:23 pmFor mummy, no upside down ride, but got reverse action. Scary for me. Huhu

Added on February 15, 2011, 3:47 pmAdded to that, will be traveling to Singapore 3D2N. Main intention is to visit MBS sky park and RWS.

Now in dilemma whether to take up the Rws 3D2N package at $ 698 nett. And wander if it's worth to go to the sky park with entrance fee of $20 per pax.

Hav read thru the one day visit of USs posted here. Gonna use this for reference.

Universal Express pass is not valid for admission to the theme park.

I've viewed the interactive map (from the website) but I'm not which area is considered as theme park. Please advise. smile.gif

Additional : Do we need to purchase a 1 Day pass to go along with the Express pass?

The Transformers ride will be launched in SG then only in the US! According to wikipedia it is opening end 2011

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformers:_The_Ride

Plus there are AFTER DARK tickets for the weekends. Only 5 dollars, you are allowed to enter the park at 7pm and stay until the fireworks. But you are not allowed to go for any rides, free access to the entire park except for rides.

the after dark tickets only allow you to access a very small area of the park. Only up until the pizza store. I went in once, quite disappointing. But I am not sure how big the real thing is because never bought the day tickets b4.

Hmm, last time when I went you needed to buy tix online like a week in advance. Now no need to buy in advance for non-holiday day already?
