Hi all,

I just back from JB and Singapore. I get to know from a taxi driver, he said that Genting Sentosa they are doing a very great offer for Johorian, like buy 140 chips for SGD 100 only and SGD 20 for food voucher. That means use SGD100 for SGD160 and they offer you a free trip to Genting Sentosa from JB and back to JB. May I know where in JB to take off? How to get this offer? I am in KL, do they offer this to KL resident? Thank you!

Hi all!

First of all, thank you so much for posting VERY USEFUL information here on USS. I am going to Singapore this weekend and going to USS on the 18th(Monday). It's actually my first time going to USS =D

I bought my tickets through www.asiatravel.com and i do not own a credit card so I used my brother's credit card to purchase the tickets. Do note that my brother is not travelling with me.

My question is it good enough for me to present the printed redemption voucher at the booth in USS or do I need to bring any more documents to verify my tickets?

after some research :

there are 2 more alternative to USS

1) via bus, public transport, from kotaraya bus station or CIQ jb

2) shuttle service frm tune hotel danga ( for this one,u need to buy USS ticket together with them )

everybody, think twice to use the shuttle service from tune hotel danga bay.

totally a crap.

they have 1 bus only.

let say your bus is 10am, if check point is very jam, the 7am bus cannot come back on time... the only thing u can do is waiting with no confirm timing.

and make sure you have booking a seat with them, even you bought the ticket from the website.

Guys ..
I just bought 2 tix from their online site..

I've selected the date of visit to be on next sunday.

However, when the ticket confirmation is out - the travel period is stated fron nxt sunday until nov .

Does this mean i can choose anytime i wan to go until November ? or do i still need to make any confirmation with USS which date im going ?

Thanks

Universal Studios Singapore is great! Now Battlestar Galactica is open already smile.gif When me and my friends visited USS, we came really early on a weekday, stayed until all the rides closed and we went on so many rides! Simply awesome. For the adventurous and adrenaline junkies, BSG is a must, and the revenge of the mummy ride is also good. Those who don't like rollercoasters- it's okay! Can watch live performances and musicals and the Lights Camera Action attraction which is REALLY stunning- got alot of surprises smile.gif the mascots are great too smile.gif Have fun!

I think the TS should update that the BSG ride is open already. On the first page it says that the BSG ride is still down.

Anyway, the BSG ride is open. But, they do have some maintenance ongoing at time. During my visit, they closed for maintenance when i intend to ride on it 2nd times. Sames goes for the Lost World Canopy flyers...

hey peeps ~
need some advice here..
i will be visiting singapore soon and am going USS too
i will be going sometime in july/august

what is the optimal time to spend at USS?
understand the park operation hours is 10am - 7pm
will a whole day be more than enough?
i'm pretty much up for rides & taking photos...i have a pretty packed schedule, so wondering if 4-5 hours at the park is enough

4 to 5hrs at the park is definitely not enuf during peaks...

If you have tight schedule, i advise u 2 purchase the express pass. But, express pass are not available for all the rides... u can check for more info at the rwsentosa website...

Hi,

Need advice from those who've been there. I'm going to Singapore this Saturday (11 June). I'm thinking of going to USS. Should I get the express pass? because I heard it's school holiday over there now... Thanks.
