i test drive one not sticking any test drive unit sticker on the car....
the SA jt took the key and let me test it.... i was wondering that car is the stockroom car which mean it is the car that future customer will get....

DIY RIM CAP

how you guys take out the rim cap? that day when i want to stick the kia rim cap sticker, i tot want to take out and stick, but try try then also worry will scratch the rim/rim cap, so just end up direct stick the sticker wit hthe rim cap attached to rim.

btw, the spraying look nice without the NAZA logo.....

Mech from Jln Tandang SC...I am not a mech so just believe what he said lor...Anyway, they have make an order of the part and will call me once its ready for replacement....Just wish that is the root cause of the "Eiikk...eiikk" sound...

its may not be ler if u have time come meet me i help test .... i know the sound from acc pedal its ok if from engine u no need off everything to hear open bonnet also can hear already.

Some experience on Jalan Tandang mech/counter service personnel.

Right after getting my forte, i found that it would drift towards left after 100m. So i sent to Jln. Tandang SC for first 1000km service. Not fixed. In fact, its worse. Probably 50m would start to drift. Then sent back in another few days, this time they reset using wireless equipment to factory settings. Still not fix. In another few days, sent back for "Kia expert technician" to check it.
This time round, after 10-20 m, the car started to drift.

Everytime, the reply is "Every car would drift abit one, but its doesnt results in more wear on the tires". So i gave up sending to them. Pointless sending to people who denied the fact alignment problem still exist.

Somemore, the car would have some "yik yik" sounds sometimes, when going thru bumper or uneven road. The reply is "its normal, absorber sound".
I refer this to my usual mechanic outside, he too said its normal. Just that i felt a new car shouldnt really have this sound.

However, i must commend on their willingness to help get things fixed up.

Ya meh...aiyoo..like that pening liao... Dunno want to fix or not if its normal like what you said.... Scared later make the thing worst lagi susah... Ya...can meet up somewhere and help me to look into it??? .. You can hear the sound when you step on the accelerator...err...occasionally...

Going today to pay the downpayment, my trade in dealer too, also sign the loan agreement - my SA informed me once they cheques clear on Wed, NZ will then proceed to pay the duty and etc, and ONLY then proceed to process the hakmilik etc, which will take several days (another 2-3 days). That means likelihood to register new car by Wed next week. also just found out that the insurance (whether with or without NCB) must take first yr with NZ (guess they want to earn a cut of the insurance too)
