QUOTE(cybersim2 @ Jul 31 2010, 08:12 PM) i mean embedded subtitle. do ur hdpro directly display the subtitle when u play the files or u hav to press the subtitle then select it ? sorry, i'm not using hdpro, but another yangxi's player H10R that also uses the same 1073 chipset.my H10R displays subtitle automatically. yangxi, isn't it weird that u have to manually select the subtitle? is it the same for hdpro and hdpro mini too? |

Hi guys,
I have port forward BT port 6881 (default), however, I am still experiencing slowness in BT download. Downloading Bt from my PC is faster than HDPro+. Meanwhile, I read from AC Ryan that you can change the default port to custom port. I tried but it does not seem to work. Anyone can advise? Thanks. |

Trying to find a way to reduce the BT speed as my PC can't browse internet, 90% of the bandwidth go to HDPro.... The AVG speed of the BT speed around 45kbps. WD has just started selling Advanced Format PC Internal drive like the 640GB WD6400AARS. ( cluster size is 4KB vs 512B conventional)
For full performance, it must either set jumpers 7-8 or use WD align software for Windows XP. Some claim that it affect perform on Linux too. Do you know whether this will affect performance if use in HDPro as internal HD? Anyone has experience on above, pls share. TQ This post has been edited by helob: Aug 1 2010, 11:49 PM |

From my experience with WD 2TB Advance format hard drive ..
before installing to HDPro I usually use western digital WDAlign software to convert the hard drive into conventional cluster size...(so no need to use jumpers) No problem so far ... Why didn't you use jumper Pin7-8 ? TQ |

I have a movie which I cannot figure how to play on the HDPro. The Video and 2 channel audio is in a .WMV format file. While the 5.1 channel audio is in a seperate .AC3 format file. HDPro does not detect the .AC3. Can any suggest an application to merge the audio and video files?
Thanks in advance, Jason |

i am not to sure on this ... but because i am using windows xp to transfer files into the 2TB .. i make sure that the drive is compatible to it.. if you using windows7 or and sorely on hdpro it should be ok not doing anything.. as some of the hdpro for customers, i don't want headache if got problem later.. so just make as compatible as possible.. jumpers will only make itchy customers fingers to pull out.. So far so good with the HDPRO+ excellent playback of MKV files and RMVB.
Would like to check fo those who playing movies with 720p and 1080p, why some movies still have the black bar being displayed? Is this because of the source i.e. the way the mkv is ripped? OR there is some settings that can be changed in the LCD/Plasma and HDPRO? Recently downloaded a 1080P about 12Gb but when play it out got two black bar Hope can get some advice. Many thanks. |
