QUOTE(kianwee @ Jun 18 2005, 11:05 AM) Irenic, if i remember correctly you have a venice 3200+ 0518DPBW, how was the overclocking ability? i was ..but not now... the venice can do 2.75ghz stable prime.. btw.. i ran memtest at stock for cpu n ram and got plenty of errors then i set the ram setting and then only memtest passed for 2hrs.. sigh.. OCZ rev2 + DFI combo is sick .. even at default must set everything manually

QUOTE(gavlim @ Jul 11 2005, 04:14 AM) i really dunno.. cause i'm reporting the temps given by smart guardian (the program found in the software CD given with the mobo).. without aircon, the idle is 28-29C. then i tried prime95, and then folding@home, the temps on full load (100% cpu usage in task manager) is around 33-34C with xp120. i'm thinking there may be something wrong, but if not, then i'm really happy with the temps. i tried touching the heatpipes when on load, but they feel really cool to touch. this one with side panel closed.. even ur pwm temp also very cool~ mine idle is 38C+ .. i guess u may have a low ambient temp

QUOTE(Westley @ Jan 6 2006, 12:19 AM) lazy to compare. but i u really wanna know how is the temperature of the chipset. i can tell u is, because i have change to the CM chipset heatsink, so, will be different. CPU, juz flash to latest bios, getting a 44 on blend... nope.. i'm not asking u coz i want to know.. but becoz my hardware temp reader read my load temp as 45 but DFI shows only 34c

QUOTE(diablo69 @ Feb 5 2006, 01:54 PM) nice chipset cooler... can be use onnf3 ultra rite?? but myx800pro got ATI silencer on it... still can fit ker?? i think can. actually u can change the position of the heatsink fan.. I put mine like that coz it will get fresh air from front intake fan .. QUOTE(gsan @ Feb 5 2006, 02:24 PM) irenic, where u got this toy and how much it cost? from one forumer.. cost me rm140. i think the best reason to use this cooling is to give more space for gfx so we can use waterblock or bigger cooling like artic silencer without blocking the chipset fan This post has been edited by irenic: Feb 5 2006, 03:12 PM
